Thanks, Obama! Iran Gains Billions And Warm Welcome To Do Whatever It Wants As Economic Sanctions Disappear (One Day, Iran Will Invade The Middle East)

Marxists and useful idiots recently rejoiced as Obama embraced Cuba, a nation that once housed atomic weapons pointed at the United States, and they rejoice again as Obama embraces Iran, a nation for whom Obama has done everything he can to fulfil their dream of building and pointing nuclear weapons at the United States.

“What could go wrong?” earnest useful idiots everywhere scoff at the legions of people who question “why exactly it is good for Iran to receive billions of dollars we could otherwise prevent them from receiving and having more influence in the Middle East and in the world?”

Here’s the story:

The US and the EU have lifted crippling sanctions against Iran following the UN nuclear watchdog’s finding that Tehran had curbed its nuclear program as promised.

Key points:

IAEA report confirms Iran has honoured its side of the nuclear accord

Raft of US, EU and UN sanctions lifted, oil exports to resume

Iran has always said its nuclear activities were for peaceful purposes

In a dramatic move scheduled to coincide with the scrapping of the sanctions, Tehran also announced the release of five Americans including Washington Post reporter Jason Rezaian as part of a prisoner swap with the United States.

Together, the lifting of sanctions and the prisoner deal considerably reduce the hostility between Tehran and Washington that has shaped the Middle East since Iran’s Islamic Revolution of 1979.

Tens of billions of dollars worth of Iranian assets will now be unfrozen and global companies that have been barred from doing business there will be able to exploit a market hungry for everything from automobiles to airplane parts.

The UN nuclear watchdog ruled on Saturday that Iran had abided by an agreement last year with six world powers to curtail its nuclear program, triggering the end of sanctions.

“Iran has carried out all measures required under the [July deal] to enable Implementation Day [of the deal] to occur,” the Vienna-based International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) said in a statement.

Iran to emerge from years of economic isolation

Within minutes, the United States formally lifted banking, steel, shipping and other sanctions on Iran, a major oil producer that has been virtually shut out of international markets for the past five years.

The European Union also began the process of lifting sanctions and Iran’s transport minister said Tehran planned to buy 114 civil aircraft from European aircraft maker Airbus.

Australia would also lift sanctions on the Islamic republic, Foreign Minister Julie Bishop said.

Iran nuclear deal at a glance

The main points in the nuclear deal between Iran and six world powers aimed at curbing Tehran’s nuclear program in exchange for sanctions relief.

“The easing of these sanctions will ensure that Australian business is not disadvantaged in pursuing opportunities in Iran,” she said in a statement.

The lifting of sanctions means more money and prestige for Shiite Muslim Iran as it becomes deeply embroiled in the sectarian conflicts of the Middle East, notably in the Syrian civil war, where its allies are facing Sunni Muslim rebels.

America’s thaw with Iran is viewed with deep suspicion by US Republicans as well as American allies in the Middle East, including Israel and Saudi Arabia.

US-Iranian suspicion remains deeply entrenched.

Washington maintains separate, less comprehensive sanctions on Iran over its missile program.

For its part, Iran detained 10 US Navy sailors on two boats in the Gulf a week ago, although they were released the next day.

Four American prisoners ‘yet to leave Iran’

In an unusual move, President Barack Obama pardoned three Iranian-Americans charged for violating sanctions against Iran, a lawyer for one of the men said, while prosecutors moved to drop charges against four Iranians outside the United States.

Iran agreed to free five Americans including Rezaian and Saeed Abedini, an Iranian-American Christian pastor sentenced to eight years in prison in 2013 on charges of undermining Iran’s national security.

But a US official said four of the Americans had not yet left Iran due to ongoing logistical issues.

The fifth prisoner, Matthew Trevithick, has left the country after 40 days in prison. Trevithick, a student and journalist, had travelled and worked in conflict-torn nations including Syria, Mali and Afghanistan.

The prisoner deal was the culmination of months of diplomatic contacts, secret talks and legal manoeuvring that came close to falling apart because of a threat by Washington in December to impose fresh sanctions on Iran for recent ballistic missile tests.

The detente with Iran is opposed by all of the Republican candidates vying to succeed Mr Obama as president in an election in November.

Republican front-runner Donald Trump said at a campaign event he was happy Americans were being freed, “but I will tell you it’s a disgrace that they were there for so long”.

Ted Cruz, a conservative senator from Texas and one of the leading Republicans, tweeted in support of Mr Abedini’s release: “Praise God! Surely bad parts of Obama’s latest deal, but prayers of thanksgiving that Pastor Saeed is coming home.”

Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton took credit for helping to start the sanctions pressure on Iran during her 2009-2013 tenure as Mr Obama’s secretary of state.

Now, you may not believe in God or believe the Bible (not sure how you ended up here but welcome!) but it takes a pretty special stubborn refusal to deal with reality to pretend that this Iran deal will probably work out well for anyone, Iranians included.

After all, even Germany enjoyed the benefits of economic recovery until Hitler plunged it into a decimating world war.

Good thing Iran doesn’t have an evil, blood-thirsty dictator in power over its massive, un-sanctioned oil wealth…

Oh.

Nonetheless, welcome to the Obama administration’s foreign policy record that currently has such hits as Arab Winter, Benghazi, and the heart-wrenching Islamic State.

Time to add nuclear-Iran to that best-of because, let’s face it, what President is ever going to top that utter catastrophe?

Anyway, if you have read the Bible, especially the book of Daniel and are inclined towards a consistent futurist interpretation of Chapter 8 (more on that here), then Iran’s new lease on life and money and regional influence should be very much expected.

It’s likely that Iran’s confrontation with Saudi Arabia will escalate and eventually, whether it takes years or decades, Iran is going to come good on its promise to be really dangerous and launch an invasion of the Middle East for whatever reason it finds acceptable.

From there it’s pretty straight forward – Turkey leads a coalition to fight against Iran and whoops them, seeming regional peace, antichrist rises, Jesus returns as King to rule and reign for a Millenium, new heavens and new earth.

Dangers In The Middle East: The Saudi Arabia-Iran Conflict

While most Westerner know next to nothing about either of these nations, nor about Islam, recent events are neither surprising nor to be quickly dismissed.

Indeed, we may all eventually be impacted by the distasterous-at-best relationship between these two nations.

Consider Dave Jolly’s take on the situation:

On June 28, 1914, a Serbian nationalist assassinated Archduke Franz Ferdinand, the nephew of Emperor Franz Joseph of Austria, King of Hungary, Croatia and Bohemia. Archduke Ferdinand was the heir to the Austro-Hungarian empire. The assassination of Archduke Ferdinand and his wife is generally believed to be the spark that ignited World War 1.

On Saturday, Saudi Arabia executed 47 people accused of terrorist crimes. One of those executed was a Shiite cleric by the name of Sheikh Nimr al-Nimr. While you may not understand the importance of his execution, it may possibly lead to war between Iran and Saudi Arabia and if that happens, it may well be the final spark that launches World War 3.

Ayatollah Khamenei, Iran’s Supreme Leader claims that Sheikh Nimr was not a terrorist but a peaceful man. He accuses Saudi Arabia of executing him because he was a Shiite Muslim who disagreed with Saudi Arabia’s Sunni leaders. As reported by BBC News:

But Ayatollah Khamenei said the cleric had been executed for his opposition to Saudi Arabia’s Sunni rulers.

“‘This oppressed scholar had neither invited people to armed movement, nor was involved in covert plots’ the ayatollah tweeted.”

“‘The only act of #SheikhNimr was outspoken criticism,’ he added, saying the ‘unfairly-spilled blood of oppressed martyr #SheikhNimr will affect rapidly & Divine revenge will seize Saudi politicians’.”

“Sheikh Nimr had been a figurehead in the anti-government protests that erupted in the wake of the Arab Spring up to his arrest in 2012.”

The animosity or hatred between Sunni and Shiite Muslims is stronger than the hatred held by the southern states about the northern states that led to the American civil. Allow me to explain:

“The conflict between the two Islamic sects goes back to the death of their prophet Muhammad in 632 AD when a successor was to be named to lead the Islamic people. The majority, the Sunni, wanted the community to select the new leader and a minority, the Shiites or Shia, insisted that Muhammad’s successor be a family member, namely Ali who was Muhammad’s cousin and son-in-law, married to his daughter Fatimah.”

“The Sunni majority won out and named the first caliph, but the Shiite minority was not happy and tensions soon flared into conflicts. Eventually Ali was named as the fourth caliph, but it was too late. Ali was murdered at Kufa in present day Iraq in 661 AD as were several of the early caliphs.”

“Ali’s son Hussein assumed the leadership of the Shiites and openly rejected the rule of the Sunni caliph. Hussein continued to defy the caliph and eventually faced the caliph’s very large army with only 72 followers, many of which were family members. The caliph’s army massacred Hussein and his small group. He was beheaded and his head was taken to the Sunni caliph in Damascus. His body was left on the battlefield until it was burned and buried.”

For the past 1300 years Sunni and Shiite Muslims have been at odds. Many of the civil wars and skirmishes that have taken place in the Middle East over the past 1300 years have been due to the bitter hatred between the two Muslim sects. That’s why I’ve long contended that it is extremely naïve of our government to believe that they can actually bring peace to the Middle East.

If Khamenei’s threat of divine revenge becomes a reality and Shiite Muslims retaliate against Saudi Arabia’s Sunni leadership, there is a good possibility of a full-fledged war breaking out between Iran and Saudi Arabia. If that happens, it could spark further conflicts between Shiite and Sunni Muslims throughout the Middle East. With so many nations dependent upon Middle East oil, a war in the entire region could very well spill out in much of the rest of world and yes, the US will most likely get involved as well but this time a world war will surely come to our shores and endanger us all.

World war happened once over the death of one man and may just happen again.

Walid Shoebat is an expert in these matters and offers a clear biblical perspective of these events:

When we tell you that Iran (biblical Elam) will soon wipe Saudi Arabia off the face of the map, you better believe it, Isaiah 21 confirmed it and it will be done. Today Iran’s Ayatullah threatens: “I have no doubt that this pure blood will stain the collar of the House of Saud and wipe them from the pages of history,” says Iran’s Ayatollah Ahmad Khatami. The threat with complete annihilation came as result when King Salman of Saudi Arabia today executed an Ayatullah figure named Nimr Al-Nimr in Saudi Arabia. So like birth pangs, this speeds up the end of Saudi Arabia by the hand of Elam/Iran (Isaiah 21).
There are only 47 Ayatollahs in the world and 17 of them are assigned to 8 Muslim countries outside Iran and yesterday the King of Saudi Arabia, King Salman, decided to behead one of them; Nimr Al-Nimr who was executed privately among 47 others on terrorism charges in an indoor beheading fest that was carried out in small batches throughout the kingdom.

The event sparked havoc all throughout; Shiites ignited in riots in several countries, Qatif, the Shiite community in Saudi Arabia are revolting while the Saudi Embassy in Mashhad, Iran was set ablaze with calls to destroy Saudi Arabia which echoed throughout the Shiite world while Iran vowed to destroy Al-Saud.

The execution was carried out few days when Erdogan of Turkey, the candidate for Caliph of the Muslim world had visited with King Salman and entered the Gate to Allah (Bab-Illah) in the Kabaa in Mecca. The King perhaps is confident that his back is covered by major Muslim sunni power, the Caliph to be, the neo-Ottoman Erdogan. This, we predict, will backfire on Saudi Arabia.

Ayatullah Nimr Baqir al-Nimr, the Ayatullah appointed in Saudi Arabia to represent the Shiites

Several videos surfaced showing the havoc. The first two is setting Saudi embassy ablaze in Mashhad, the other two are the riots in Qatif, the Shiite region of Saudi Arabia.

The title Ayatollah is from Arabic: آية الله‎, āyatu allah “Sign of Allah”, and is the highest ranking title given to Usuli Twelver Shī‘ah clerics after the Grand Ayatollah and are considered experts in Islamic jurisprudence, ethics, and philosophy.

The best way to relate this story to the western mindset is perhaps to compare the feud between the English (as the Sunnis) and the Scottish (as the Shiites) where William Wallace had become the hated enemy of King Edward I, the Longshanks who eventually had Wallace beheaded. Nimr, according to the Saudi Kingdom was a cause of much controversy for leading a Shiite uprising within the Sunni kingdom.

As it was in Wallace’s mock trial, Nimr’s trial was no ordinary criminal trial, since the prosecutor sought to convict al-Nimr of “waging war on Allah” and was ultimately convicted of “disobeying” the king; waging violence against the state; inviting “foreign meddling” in the kingdom; inciting vandalism and sectarian violence; and insulting the Prophet Muhammad’s relatives, a thing that all Shiites are accused by Sunnis because of their theological convictions. The prosecutor requested the court to have the Ayatollah to be publicly executed by “beheading crucifixion” (just as they did to William Wallace), a rare method of execution that entails beheading the individual before publicly displaying his decapitated body on a crucifix.

Since the October 15, 2014 ruling to execute Nimr, Iran was up-in-arms and the international human rights organizations including the U.S have sought to pressure Saudi Arabia into sparing al-Nimr’s life while demonstrations erupted in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Yemen and the United Kingdom, even including Bashar Al-Assad of Syria and Hezbollah.

The King carried out the execution despite requests from U.S. state department showing that Saudi Arabia realizes its ally, the U.S., no longer is the protector. Keep in mind, the executions were carried out after Erdogan of Turkey (the new fledgling protector) of the kingdom entered into the heart of the Kaaba.

The beheading was celebrated by Saudis and scorned by Shiites.

Welcome to Muslim death festivity. Cake and Halva with decoration that says “To hell with you Nimr Al-Nimr” with two chalices of red drink resembling Nimr’s blood for drink. Keep in mind when the Two Witnesses in Revelation are executed in Jerusalem, that sweets are passed in celebration resembles Muslim joy.

Tweets like “the martyred Nimr’s blood is the beginning of the end of the Kingdom of Daesh” filled Twitter. Shiites render Saudi Arabia as the instigator and originator of Daesh (ISIS). Another tweet says “the blood of martyred Sheikh Nimr will remove Al-Saud from existence and will draw the pathway for freedom of the people of Saudi Arabia”.

The last mass execution of similar scale in Saudi Arabia was in 1980, when 63 jihadists were put to death after they seized the Grand Mosque in Mecca.

The executions of at least 157 people in 2015, a year that began with the inauguration of a new monarch, King Salman, were a sharp increase from the 90 people put to death in 2014. Saudi officials have argued that the increase reflects not a change in policy but a backlog of death sentences that had built up in the final years of the previous monarch, King Abdullah.

The spark to end Saudi Arabia perhaps has begun. Emirati political scientist, Abdulkhaliq Abdulla, wrote on Twitter, adding that the kingdom was better prepared to confront Iran “than at any other time.”

The cyber rattling between Shiite Iran and Sunni Saudi Arabia stems from ancient wounds that will never be resolved, with Saudi Arabia having destroyed Shiite holy places and Iran making countless claims of persecution. Iran has recently forbidden its citizens from traveling to Mecca to practice the Hajj, one of the five pillars of Islam. Iran’s prohibition on traveling to Islam’s holiest sites, Mecca and Medina, confirms that Iran will even eventually abandon Mecca altogether. As it seems, the Sunni-Shiite divide reveals a major schism between two Muslim holy cities, Mecca on the one hand and Karbala (holiest site for Shiites in Iraq) on the other. The execution of Ayatullah Nimr will backfire on Al-Saud. Anyone today now can deduce that Iran with Iraq, a majority Shiite nation, soon to become Iranian controlled, this including Iranian controlled Yemen, Oman and later Bahrain will pin Saudi Arabia where they have only the Red Sea behind them and the enemy on its eastern flank leaving no escape. This is definitely a deadly combination and Saudi Arabia sees the writing on the wall: the Persians (Elam) are coming for Arabia (Isaiah 21). This is no longer prophetic theory but is becoming prophetic reality. In the geo-politics of everything Middle East, when Iran eventually controls these nations, even if one takes Jordan (Edom and Moab), prophetically will likely be entered by Turkey (Daniel 11:41) leaving no escape for the harlot except by the Red Sea. Yet the Bible even tells us that her destruction is heard at the Red Sea (Jeremiah 49:21) and is where the shipmasters will weep and wail “Alas Alas that great city …” (Revelation 18).

Saudi Arabia is rummaging to find a solution and sees the writing on the wall. The dual fulfillment of “MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN ()” is on the horizon. And while it is explained to mean that God had “numbered” the kingdom of Babylon and brought it to an end; that the king had been weighed and found wanting; and that his kingdom was divided and given to the Medes and Persians (Dan. v. 1-28), we need not forget the duality of fulfillment here. This also applies to the end time Mystery Babylon which is not in Iraq, New York or Rome (see full detailed explanation here) but Arabia. Within few years, Mecca and its 7 massive structures, the largest building structure on earth, called “The Towers Of The House” that overlooks the Ka’ba, Islam’s holiest place will meet its doom in accordance to prophecy. There is no place on earth today where stands the largest structure in the world, used for a religious purpose, all worshipping in one tongue, regardless of their mother tongue, and is holy to more than 1.5 billion people on earth that is literally called Mount Babel today, except the one in Mecca overlooking the Ka’ba.

This is an un-healable divide and the Scriptures in Isaiah 21 predict that Iran will end up destroying Arabia, so let the symphony begin and let the angels proclaim God’s judgment which right after, the earth will rest and the holy people will rejoice.

Finally, Mark Davidson offers a brief but important comment:

Iran will run out and invade in the three directions: north, south and west. So says Daniel 8:4. This is the Second Signpost

To the west, Iran is already engaged antagonistically in limited combat with its enemy to the west: Islamic State.

We have yet to see a significant development to the north. However, Iran’s enemy, Turkey has restarted its war with the Kurds and perhaps Iran would be seen as a liberator.

But we have just witnessed a major development with Iran’s enemy to the south: Saudi Arabia and the Gulf States. I believe we have just seen a big step forward to setting the stage for the Second Signpost in the south. Saudi Arabia has cut off diplomatic relations with Iran, and so has one of the Gulf States, Bahrain. A second Gulf State, the UAE, has cooled relations with Iran.

Like dominoes, the events are falling one after the other. First there was the execution of Nimr, than the burning of the Saudi embassy, then the cutting off of diplomatic relations. Historically, the cutting off of relations is a common sign often seen when two nations drift slowly towards war with each other.

The two best candidates for the longer horn on the ram, to lead the charge in the three directions: Major General Qassem Soleimani, commander of the Quds Force, on the left, and Major General Ali Jafari, commander of the other four branches (Army, Navy, Rocket forces, Basij) of the IRGC, on the right. Both men report directly only to the first horn of the ram, the supreme leader.

We don’t know what exactly is next. But I believe we can know that it will culminate in the Second Signpost. Remember to keep the actual Second Signpost as the sign God’s word tells us to watch. All events preceding and marching towards the Second Signpost are only the preparation.

More Signs Poiting To The Iranian Invasion Of The Middle East As The Fulfilment Of Daniel 8

The futurist interpretation of Daniel argues that Daniel’s prophecies were not fulfilled but merely shadowed in ancient times.

Instead, they will be fulfilled in the lead up to the end of the age.

If this is indeed the case, the fulfilment of Daniel 8 would be a significant and defining event before the end of the age, one that would reshape the Middle East in preparation for the rise of antichrist.

Here is just one more reason Iran has to launch such an attack:

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei says Saudi Arabian politicians will face “divine vengeance” for executing prominent Shiite cleric Nimr al-Nimr.

Key points

Iran’s Supreme Leader warns of ‘divine vengeance’ for execution of Shiite cleric

Comments came after protesters attacked Saudi embassy in Tehran

US warns execution could inflame sectarian tensions

UN’s Ban Ki-moon ‘deeply dismayed’

The comments came as Iranian officials announced that 40 people had been arrested for attacking the Saudi Arabian embassy in Tehran with fire bombs.

The angry crowd set the building on fire and destroyed its interior.

“The unjustly spilled blood of this oppressed martyr will no doubt soon show its effect and divine vengeance will befall Saudi politicians,” state TV reported Ayatollah Khamenei as saying.

“This scholar neither encouraged people into armed action nor secretly conspired for plots but the only thing he did was utter public criticism rising from his religious zeal.”

Sheikh Nimr al-Nimr, a prominent cleric executed in Saudi Arabia, was a vocal critic of the kingdom’s ruling family.

It said he described the execution as a “political error”.

Sheikh Nimr was executed along with 46 others on Saturday, including three other Shiites and dozens of Al Qaeda members.

Despite Iran’s anger at the execution President Hassan Rouhani denounced the embassy attack, saying it was “totally unjustifiable”.

“The actions last night by a group of radicals in Tehran and Mashhad leading to damage at the Saudi embassy and consulate are totally unjustifiable, as the buildings should be legally and religiously protected in the Islamic Republic of Iran,” Mr Rouhani said.

Riyadh considered Sheikh Nimr a terrorist, but he was hailed in Iran as a champion of the rights of Saudi Arabia’s marginalised Shiite minority.

Analysts have speculated that the execution of Sheikh Nimr and the other Shiites was partly to demonstrate to Saudi Arabia’s majority Sunni Muslims that the government did not differentiate between political violence committed by members of the two sects.

Execution risks increasing sectarian tensions: US

Despite the regional focus on Sheikh Nimr, the executions seemed mostly aimed at discouraging jihadism in Saudi Arabia, where dozens have died in the past year in attacks by Sunni militants.

The ruling Al Saud family has grown increasingly worried in recent years as Middle East turmoil, especially in Syria and Iraq, has boosted Sunni jihadists seeking to bring it down and given room to Iran to spread its influence.

A nuclear deal with Iran backed by Saudi Arabia’s biggest ally and protector, the United States, has done little to calm nerves in Riyadh.

But Saudi Arabia’s Western allies, many of whom supply it with arms, are growing concerned about its new assertiveness in the region and at home.

The US State Department said Sheikh Nimr’s execution “risks exacerbating sectarian tensions at a time when they urgently need to be reduced”.

The sentiment was echoed almost verbatim by EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini and an official at the German Foreign Ministry.

United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon said he was “deeply dismayed” by the execution.

“Sheikh Nimr and a number of the other prisoners executed had been convicted following trials that raised serious concerns over the nature of the charges and the fairness of the process,” Mr Ban’s spokesman said in a statement.

Mr Ban raised the case with Saudi leaders on a number of occasions and urged Saudi Arabia to commute all death sentences that had been imposed, the spokesman said.

“The Secretary-General also calls for calm and restraint in reaction to the execution of Sheikh Nimr and urges all regional leaders to work to avoid the exacerbation of sectarian tensions,” the spokesman said.

The West Aborts Our Future While Islam Grows And Grows

This is “the” culture war.

The higher the proportion of Muslims in a nation, the more dangerous it becomes. So when the West murders it’s children by abortion and slams its population return rate below the 2.1 children per family required to sustain the population, something practically all western nations have achieved, we are signing the death certificate of our own culture.

Two articles reinforce the direction the world is heading regarding this serious matter.

Firstly, Warning Bell for Developed Countries: Declining Birth Rates makes the point clear that it is developed nations which are in trouble here. Note that Islamic nations aren’t mention here in connection with population troubles or with the reality of being “developed.”

In developed countries today many women receive educations and earn salaries that are on a par with those of men. The fact that women are no longer socially or economically dependent on men has radically altered young people’s lifestyles. A woman can now choose to remain single, marrying only when a man adds value to her life or when she desires to have children within such a framework.

This is creating big changes throughout the developed world. The replacement rate—the reproduction rate that keeps a population stable—for developed countries is 2.1, yet nearly half the world’s population has birth rates lower than that. The U.S. has a total fertility rate (TFR) of 2.0—nearly the replacement rate—with Hispanic immigrants leading in birth rates. The U.S. is aging but not as fast as many other countries. A 2010 census showed that 31.4 million Americans live alone—27% of all households (equal to the percentage of childless couples). Living alone allows people to pursue individual freedom, exert personal control and go through self-realization, but these people have fewer children.

Western European countries have low fertility rates, below the replacement rate of 2.1. Germany: 1.4 (its total population is 81.9 million, of which 8.2% are foreigners). Holland: 1.8

(16.5 million, of which 4.4% are foreigners). Belgium: 1.8 (10.8 million, of which 9.8% are foreigners). Spain: 1.4 (46.1 million, of which 12.4% are foreigners). Italy: 1.4 (60.2 million, of which 7.1% are foreigners), the Pope’s views notwithstanding. Sweden, which provides deep support for parents, has a high TFR of 1.9 (9.4 million, of which 6.4% are foreigners), but that’s still below the replacement rate. Ireland and the U.K. also have high TFRs, at 2.1 and 1.9, respectively, but these rates are derived from non-European immigrant parents.

During the 21st century the U.S. could become the slowly aging leader of a rapidly aging world.

Singapore’s experience is no different from that of these countries. Our birth rates have been steadily declining. The fertility rate of the Chinese segment of our population is the lowest, 1.08 (2011), with the rate for Indians 1.09 and for Malays 1.64. In other words, the size of each successive generation of Chinese Singaporeans will halve in the next 18 to 20 years.

To have babies is, of course, a personal decision, but for a nation’s population that decision carries considerable consequences. The education of our women and their ability to be high-income earners have altered social behavior and led to marriages later in life. But when women put off having children until their mid-30s, they have fewer children.

In Singapore in 2011 seven working adults supported one retiree. By 2030, 2.3 working adults will have to support one retiree. We have more than 340,000 people over the age of 65, with 2.36 million people between the ages of 15 and 64. By 2030 we will have 900,000 over the age of 65, with only 2.04 million working adults between the ages of 15 and 64.

Islamic Population Explodes while West’s Implodes raises perhaps the most concerning issue: that Islam’s population will proportionally grow significantly in comparison to the West unless something changes quickly.

For years we’ve hearing about a coming population crash in developed Western nations – mainly Europe. Births are simply not keeping pace with death rates.

In Germany, “births per 1,000 population have fallen to roughly 8.2 – below even Japan’s 8.4. The death rate, meanwhile, is about 11 per 1,000,” according to Hamburg’s World Economy Institute. Many other European countries appear also to be in the same boat, with dwindling birth rates not keeping pace with deaths.

In June it was estimated that the German population in 2060 will shrink to 67 million – down from its current 81 million.

Journalist Daniel Greenfield writes that a big part of the declines are due to the left’s assault on both marriage and the traditional nuclear family. He says, “Marriage is a fading institution. Family is a flickering light in the evening of the West.”

This should be great news to the population bomb crowd which believes over population is killing Mother Earth. This despite the fact that if everyone stood shoulder to shoulder, we could all fit on the Hawaiian island of Oahu, and that’s not even the big island!

But this is indeed a growing problem for the West, America included, for as our native “cracker” population dwindles it is being replaced by refugees and immigrants – legal and illegal. And at the same time we are on this self-imposed obsolescent kick, the worldwide Muslim population is exploding.

And that brings us to Iran — the centerpiece of the Axis of Evil, and our new found friend and ally. That’s an interesting juxtaposition, is it not?

In 2012, Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khameni decreed that his country would double its population within 50 years or less. Their current population is 78 million. The goal is to “strengthen national identity” and counter “undesirable aspects of Western lifestyle.”

To do so, Iran’s parliament has offered up a bill which “bans voluntary sterilizations, restricts abortions and blocks access to information on contraception,” and a second bill will “encourage early marriage and make divorce more difficult. It would also make it legal for employers to discriminate against female job candidates, particularly if they are single and have no children.”

Many Iranian couples in their 20s and 30s are childless. One such married couple is Shirin and Hossein, who claim they know almost nobody with children. Shirin says that part of the problem is the authoritarian theocratic state, but the other is the “struggle to find a livelihood in a country where sanctions, mismanagement and corruption have inflicted terrible damage.”

But wait Shirin, John Kerry to the rescue! Sure, he won’t do anything about those pesky theocrats, but he’ll gladly free up $150 billion of sanctioned money.

Maybe that extra cash will help grow your economy, make it easier to earn a living and have kids. But no matter — if the Ayatollah says you’re going to procreate — that’s what you’ll do. That’s what all Muslim countries are doing.

So couple the explosion of Third World immigrant populations with the ever dwindling of European and American and pretty soon you have a shift in culture leading to the evaporation of what it means to be French, German, Spanish, etc.

And eventually it will be “Bye-Bye Miss American Pie.”

In some ways, our culture certainly deserves to die but I certainly don’t want it to, especially in the face of Islam.

God is the same today as he has always been and so our hope can be in this promise, even though it was given to King Solomon of Israel:

“When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command the locust to devour the land, or send pestilence among my people, if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” ‭‭2 Chronicles‬ ‭7:13-14‬ ‭ESV‬‬

10 Signs That Point To Trouble In September 2015

There is a lot going on in the world. If you are a Christian, you should be watching and praying. If not, Jesus beckons you with open arms, as does his church.

I celebrate the Lord’s feasts and have done so since he took my Christian community on a journey into discovering Jesus in these feasts over half a decade ago.

I already had a heart and a burden for Israel and God compounded this as we discovered the joy of celebrating and understanding the Passover, Pentecost, and Sukkot.

So when the Blood Moon Tetrad appearances were made known, I was alert and watchful knowing that this precision was no coincidence. I waited and watched as ISIS rose up during this period. Then it became clear the world economy, driven by America’s debt, was heading towards crisis. Now Iran is the BFF of the West with free reign to make nukes.

All of these signs within this Blood Moon Tetrad.

Along this journey, I have seen a number of trends across the many facets of society that defy chance and all point to significant upheaval in the earth.

My conviction is that serious trouble will consume the earth and, like Hitler and the Third Reich arising as a saviour to a greatly troubled Germany, the way will be opened for the rise of the antichrist spoken of in the biblical scriptures as a saviour to a greatly troubled planet. This of course may take years and even decades to play out but I believe some important steps towards this end may be occurring right now.

Again, my personal conviction is that this will be an Islamic empire upon which antichrist arises to power but certainly one with influence in and across many nations, some of which will likely be non-Islamic. I am open to other interpretations but this stands strongest in my mind. I would encourage Christians to be aware of all the major theories on this matter so that we are best prepared.

September seems to be a focal point for many of these aforementioned trends, with the final Blood Moon appearing then along with the Shemitah and a number of other noteworthy signs.

I am not the only one watching and below is a list of signs and trends worth being aware of. I do not necessarily agree with all of these listed items – particularly the understanding of the rapture expressed here – but this should not stop us from being united in a prayerful awareness and preparedness for hardship and persecution.

The impending crisis that the swirling vortex of signs and events is pressing upon this world brings to mind that song of Johnny Cash titled, “Five Feet and Rising,” where he progresses through the song’s narrative of flood waters overwhelming his family’s farm. [1]

Not only does it identify with all the turbulent storms and flooding in recent months, but it resonates with the flooding of crime, murders, rioting, sexual assaults and social immorality. Not a pretty sight, for sure! One of the prophecies proves my point, however, according to 2 Timothy 3:1-5:

“But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power.”

Earlier, in his first letter, 1 Timothy 3:1-2, he identified, perhaps, the root cause of today’s social and immoral degradation:

“Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron….”

It seems harder than ever to find enough adjectives to describe the atrocities that abound in our world today, and that testifies to the reality of the “times and seasons” that marks the closing of this page of God’s plan for the ages.

There are at least ten, perhaps more, signs and events that are coming together in these days with remarkable rapidity. We can look at each of them in detail, next.

1. The determined destruction of America.

Barack Obama’s campaign declaration for the 2008 election was “America is the greatest nation the world has ever seen!” Then, later, he exclaimed, “Join me in fundamentally changing America forever!” We now understand that if America was so great, the only way it was to be changed was to destroy it. (The above statements have been well publicized with videos of the speeches, but now appear to have been taken out of circulation.)

The lies, deceptive tactics and outright flaunting of the Constitution, while denied and overlooked by the liberal left and political correctness demands of the media, are fully supported by factual evidence. For example, the Gross National Product (GNP) of the United States historically runs at around four per cent annually. It has continually dropped since Obama took office, and the rate of economic growth which this statistic measures dropped below zero in the first quarter of 2015!

When President George W. Bush finished his second term amid financial turmoil like never before, he had endured a rise in the national debt to around $9 Trillion dollars. Obama lashed out at him during the campaign with unrelenting fury. It was unpatriotic and treasonous, he claimed.

Then Obama added to that level of debt an additional $9 trillion dollars, which is continuing to compile, in just over six years. That’s an increase in national debt equal to the accumulation since the beginning of the nation. One problem, then, is that it is not likely that anyone could tell us where that $9 Trillion dollars was spent.

The destructive tactics go on and on, for only if the sovereignty of the United States of America can be brought down can a “New World Order” be established. Henry Kissinger, one of the global elitists, exclaimed rather gleefully upon Obama’s election success, “He has been primed to lead us into a New World Order!” (Strangely, this video has disappeared from the Internet, also.)

And likewise, in his closing speech at the end of his term as president, George H. W. Bush glowingly pictured the coming New World Order as a utopia beyond all imagination. He says, “…and it will happen.” [2]

2. The impending economic and financial collapse worldwide.

The expectation of an economic and financial collapse that is worldwide is increasingly imminent and especially so this July, 2015, when Greece is about to fold up in bankruptcy, China’s financial situation is in chaos, and yes, the USA, with its more than $18 Trillion dollars of debt. A spokesman for the Rothschild dynasty declared in the early 1800’s, “Give me control of a nation’s money supply, and I will not care what its laws are.”

As far as America is concerned, at least, that has been accomplished by the development of the Federal Reserve System, and they are apparently ready to kill in order to preserve that control. Yet, that fiat system of debt financing has backed them into a corner where it begins to look like a worldwide collapse is on the immediate horizon, just as the economic experts fearfully anticipate. Jonathan Cahn historically documents this quite interestingly. [3]

3. The strange military exercise, Jade Helm 15.

Not mentioned in the daily news bites, even on Fox News, is the seemingly gigantic military training operation titled, “Jade Helm 15,” which is to begin, officially, on July 15, 2015, and end on September 15, 2015. Mainline media wants to push it away with a laugh and maybe a sneering retort that it is not of any significance to the nation’s welfare.

On its official shield is shown a downward pointing sword crossed by two arrows. Their motto is lettered across the bottom circle, “Master the Human Domain.” [4] That sounds an awful lot like the goal of the global elite and their New World Order which is, as I have heard and read of, a reduction of the world’s population of 7.210 billion down to a more manageable one billion or even 500 million. [5]

Of course, that means people like you and me, who do not rise to their level of equal. Perhaps that is the real driving force behind the abortion issue in which more than 55 million have been eliminated from the population since the advent of Roe vs. Wade.

One thing seems clear. The exercise is to end on September 15, the approximate time that many of these other signs and events are pointing toward. If the economy falls apart, as it is in Greece, there is nothing more appropriate for controlling rioting citizens than a prepared military to institute martial law instantly.

Jade Helm 15 is surrounded with seemingly deceptive press conferences, outright denials, huge movements of military equipment as well as strange closings of Walmart stores in the areas of planned operation. At least five such stores have been closed on a three-day advance notice with the pretense of “plumbing problems,” but in the months afterward, no plumbing repairs have been taking place—and the buildings are empty! The plan started out with seven states in the area of operation, but now has been increased to at least nine states. All of them are across our southern border, from Florida to California.

4. The on-again, off-again peace talks.

Since about September of 2009 there have been peace talks going on in the Middle East, first regarding Israel and the Palestinians, and now regarding Iran and its nuclear capability. At first, they were to have an agreement put together by the next September, and it still seems to point to that time of the year for a satisfactory conclusion. At this writing it appears a deal has been reached and is now waiting for Congressional approval. It shapes up like this, in reality.

If Iran is allowed to build a nuclear weapon, Israel is sure to be blown to bits, and the promise is that the “Great Satan” (USA) will be their next target. Psalm 2 and Psalm 83 speak of the hatred of the Islamic faction for Israel, and it has not ceased over the centuries. The leadership in the United States apparently feels it can talk its way out of any danger, but Israel has said it will not allow that to happen. It is now an open sore, but I would place my tokens on Israel’s unilateral response before this summer is over. Whatever happens, it will l likely lead to the confirmation of a covenant with many [nations at the United Nations], as Daniel 9:27 predicts.

5. The sign of the last Pope.

The centuries-old prediction of an Irish Catholic Cardinal that the 116th Pope from that date would be the last pope of the Roman Catholic Church brings us to this current Pope Francis. The timing included strange circumstances in which the prior Pope suddenly announced his resignation, a rarest of events in itself.

Pope Francis, from Argentina, is the first pope to be of the Order of the Franciscans and is a Jesuit. Note what one of the points of that order’s oath of membership includes, in part:

“I furthermore promise and declare that I will, when opportunity is present, make and wage relentless war, secretly or openly, against all heretics, Protestants and Liberals, as I am directed to do, to extirpate and exterminate them from the face of the whole earth; and that I will spare neither age, sex or condition….” [5] (It gets more graphic as the oath continues.)

This Pope has stated that it is his opinion that atheists will go to heaven based on their consciences. He has issued a proclamation of statehood for the Palestinians. Also, he just recently picked up the mantle of the liberal Obama administration and its backers, the global elite, that climate change (formerly global warming) is the greatest threat the world faces today.

This seems like the kind of support a false prophet might give to a ruling world government, or New World Order. He will be the third pope to visit the United States and the first to address a joint session of Congress on September 24, 2015. Will he be drumming up support for the New World Order? [6]

6. The increasing geophysical disturbances.

There is not enough space in this article to list all of the volcano eruptions, earthquakes, hurricanes, tornadoes, thunderstorms and their resulting flooding that are splashed across our television screens, or worse yet, overwhelming our neighborhoods. Jesus spoke of these as an increasing activity of nature in the last day’s events in the gospels. However, the globalists conveniently blame it on climate change and the faults of mankind, thus there is no reason for a confrontation with a God of creation in whom they have no interest.

7. The signs in the heavens and blood moons.

The phenomenon of the four blood moons in 2014 and 2015 and their unique occurrence on the first and last of the seven feast days recorded in the law given to Moses in Leviticus 23 is certainly a sign not to be recklessly discarded as insignificant. They seem to be bracketing those seven points on the Hebrew calendar each year to draw attention to their message as the high points of the plan of God for this age and its approaching conclusion.

Another blood moon appeared in the sky over America on June 30, 2015, the day that the Supreme Court announced the legalization of gay marriage in the United States. Was it a meaningful sign from God for that reason, or just coincidentally connected to fiery smoke from forest fires in Canada? [7].

8. The increasing worldwide hatred for the Jews.

The historical record of the Jews in the nations where they have been scattered over these past centuries is one of hatred and contempt. That has been a factor, no doubt, in keeping the Jewish heritage intact and the race ready for identification upon the call for their return to their land. Even the Nazi holocaust, while based on hatred, also created a willing desire to return to their homeland. At this time it would be hard to find any nation willing to stand up for Israel, and even the United States government, ruled by the Obama administration, talks of standing with Israel but in reality, seems to incline away from that commitment.

9. The sign that an Israeli Rabi expects Messiah’s return on September 12.

The recent headline reads, “Leading Israeli Rabi Says the Arrival of the Messiah Is Imminent.” [8] The article describes Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky as a leading authority in mainstream Ultra-Orthodox Judaism who has been giving clear and unequivocal messages recently that the coming of the Messiah is imminent. He is urging Jews to return to Israel quickly because he expects the Messiah to arrive at the end of the Sabbatical year, which is September 12, 2015.

10. The prophetic Feast of Trumpets portrayal of the Rapture.

The seven feasts of the Lord, on the Hebrew calendar since Moses took them from the command of the Lord have been brought to the attention of people of the world by the four blood moons in 2014 and 2015. Again, the moons were to appear on the first and last feast days each year and have been on target with one more remaining in 2015. The first four of the seven feasts were fulfilled when Christ was crucified, buried and resurrected and when Christ’s church was born with the filling of believers by the Holy Spirit at Pentecost. Three fulfillments are yet to come.

The next feast in order, the Feast of Trumpets, is peculiar from all the others. Its day of beginning is uncertain, for it must begin with the physical sighting of the new moon and reported to the leaders. If the new moon cannot be seen because of cloudy conditions, the beginning is postponed until the next day. Thus, the statement Jesus made fits this feast, along with the time of the Rapture of the saints:

“No man knows the day or the hour of His coming.” Since this feast portrays the event of the Rapture and is on the calendar for September 13 or 14, 2015, along with several of these signs and events, it is a valid sign of the times.

The final statement in the Bible seems appropriate here: “Even so, Lord Jesus, come!”

Naturally, trends are not certain but the do suggest something. We don’t need to date set but we ought to watch consistently and do so prayerfully so that we might be faithful to the Lord as a light to the lost whether something comes of this or not.

“Now concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered together to him, we ask you, brothers, not to be quickly shaken in mind or alarmed, either by a spirit or a spoken word, or a letter seeming to be from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come. Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God. Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things? And you know what is restraining him now so that he may be revealed in his time. For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work. Only he who now restrains it will do so until he is out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will kill with the breath of his mouth and bring to nothing by the appearance of his coming. The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders, and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. Therefore God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false, in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”

Mark Davidson’s Signpost Theory, The Shemitah, and The Futre Of The United States

Every nation that has ever been the most powerful in history has ceased to be number one at some point and the United States is next.

This is mixed bag reality because the United States has done so much good and so much bad.

Consider the role of the US in World War Two, preserving the world from countless evil regimes including but not limited to the Nazis, Communists, and Imperial Japanese, as well as it’s powerful Christian export to the nations.

Contrast that with its excessive lifestyles and consequently catastrophic debt, alongside its more recent legalisation and export of immorality including murder by abortion and the glorification of perversity through Hollywood.

A myriad of signs are pointing to something big and bad coming for the United States in governmental, economic, social, and religious spheres.

Mark Davidson’s Signpost theory looks at what the biblical scriptures declare we can expect from the Middle East in the lead up to the return of Jesus and he suggests a connection – perhaps a vital one – with a declining role of the U.S.  In world affairs.

This of course has been an expectation of many prophecy teachers and students over the last forty years or more specifically because of the historically moral and upright influence America has had on the world.

Many have assumed that a moral and generally Christian America must diminish or cease to exist before the rise of the antichrist, especially a Middle Eastern antichrist.

Other theories such as Jonathan Cahn’s shemitah parallels along with the plain and obvious signs that the U.S. is weighed down by unbelievable debt all suggests a similar outcome.

Davidson’s recent blog post offers valuable insight and makes some important predictions that we should be considering carefully in prayer and watchfulness:

September 13 is getting close (58 days away!), and the Second Signpost is getting nearer, whenever that might be. September 13 may bring some event that is deleterious to the United States according to The Harbinger. So how might September 13 and the Second Signpost be tied together, and what if anything can be done to prepare?
The Possible Event on September 13

Rabbi Cahn in his book The Harbinger made the following comparison of the progression of related events here in the United States, with what happened to ancient Israel (circa 736-722 B.C.).

The First Event

For Israel this was an invasion by Assyria. Some territory and towns were taken.

For the US this was 9-11: an invasion by some Saudis. They flew planes into our buildings and essentially took from us several blocks of territory in lower Manhattan, namely the World Trade Center.

The Second Event

For Israel this was economic in nature. The Assyrians demanded silver tribute resulting in many of the wealthy handing over silver, putting a dent in Israel’s economy.

For the US this was economic in nature. In 2008 the great financial crisis essentially made all western banks insolvent. We have never really recovered what with tens of millions either unemployed, underemployed or on food stamps.

The Third Event

For Israel this was the destruction of the northern kingdom. Israel lost its sovereignty and the people were taken away.

For the US this third event which has not happened could be on the same par as what happened to Israel. It could range from nuclear attack, to an EMP attack, to a major currency and banking event, to nothing. We do not know what it will be.

The first event, in 2001 came with no warning. The second event in 2008 actually erupted in August of the preceding year as the beginning of the great mortgage meltdown involving the subprime loans. It caused dominoes to fall within the economy until the full-blown crisis of September 2008 erupted. This time around, it seems we have no warning. The last two events occurred on workdays. This third event will occur on a Sunday.

The Second Signpost

But the looming Second Signpost may be giving us a clue.

The most popular comeback for people who argue against the interpretation of the Second Signpost say the United States would never allow Iran to invade the Middle East. Some politicians like Senator Tom Cotton of Arkansas say the US should just invade Iran and be done with it. In human terms this makes sense, but the Bible shows Iran to be the invader of the Middle East regardless of what we may or may not do. This I believe is why someone like Obama is president and not someone like Bush or Cotton. God’s word will be fulfilled just as it says.

Events of course could play out completely different from what I will write here. But it is entirely possible that any major event connected to September 13 may very well bring the US down so that it cannot project power on a scale to stop a nation the size of Iran, halfway across the globe. This would open the door for Iran to run out and execute its invasion. I have found in my studies of history that many times the forces of evil are cowards. They only attack if it looks like they will win. I think that is one reason the USSR never attacked with conventional arms across the iron curtain even though the number of planes and tanks was double or triple that of NATO – they were afraid of a good chance they would not win.

Iran may not run out because it might be afraid of being stopped by the United States. Being the masterful chess players they are on the world stage, they might very well be working out plans to make sure the US stays out of their way, or simply be waiting for the opportune moment when the US cannot interfere. They will run out when they feel assured of victory.

Ron Paul’s Message

Contemplating all of this, I saw that good ole’ Ron Paul had teamed up with Porter Stansberry to deliver a message of economic disaster. You can see it at www.ronpaulmessage44.com.

For 24 years, Ron Paul was the only representative in Congress who challenged the Fed and actively tried to abolish it. On many occasions, Ron Paul was the only politician to corner Fed chiefs and make them squirm. In this Youtube clip starting at 04:27 you can see Representative Paul getting former Fed Chief Ben Bernanke into a corner and smiling a bit. Bernanke looked like a deer caught in the headlights and had to lie through his teeth to get out of that one. Central banks keep gold because of tradition? Puhleese.

[4:56] Paul: “Do you think gold is money?”

[5:02] Bernanke: “No.”

[5:10] Paul: (smiles)

[5:16] Paul: “Why do central banks hold it?”

[5:24] Bernanke: “Well its tradition.”

I usually don’t pay attention to the Stansberry infomercials. Like other watchdogs they continually talk about economic disaster. As an example they were talking several months ago about how currency laws would come into effect and it would be disastrous for the United States. I haven’t noticed any disasters. What caught my attention this time is that Ron Paul has agreed to use his name and reputation to spread the message. For many years prior to the Tea Party starting, I considered Ron Paul to be the only politician worth listening to.

Anyway, his message is long but full of good information. Since it is a Stansberry infomercial, you cannot rewind it so if you miss something you have to start from the beginning. The timing of this is interesting since I only saw commercials for this in the last couple weeks as September 13 approached.

Ron Paul says, as has Jim Sinclair and Peter Schiff (author of Crash Proof) that the turning point for the United States economy and banking system will be when people lose confidence, or hope, in the dollar. The US dollar is not backed by gold like so many may believe it is.

The Federal Reserve site itself says that the dollar is no longer exchangeable for gold or silver. This is how it is backed, stated on their own site:

“The Congress has specified that Federal Reserve Banks must hold collateral equal in value to the Federal Reserve notes that the Federal Reserve Bank puts in to circulation. This collateral is chiefly held in the form of U.S. Treasury, federal agency, and government-sponsored enterprise securities.”

By saying securities back up the dollar, this means paper backs paper. There is no inherent value. The paper has value only because the Fed says it does and people believe it.

Currency Event and the Second Signpost

Since Ron Paul says in his message that this coming currency event would eventually result in the inability of the US military to project power, there is the connection to the Second Signpost. The currency event to come will be like nothing we have ever experienced. Many nations over many centuries have had these currency collapses. In this past century it was Germany (Weimar Republic), Argentina, Zimbabwe, and the list goes on. But they could always use US dollars in a pinch.

What is different here is that the last time a currency collapsed for the United States was prior to 1788, and this time the currency is by and large the foreign currency reserve for most nations. How might this affect the whole world? After all, the United States is not like Zimbabwe.

The U.S. government will try to protect itself and put in place capital controls like what happened in Greece this past month. The government might try to confiscate 401k’s, and put in new regulations on withdrawing cash. Bank lending may stop. ATM’s may be closed for weeks. If interest rates rise as they probably will, the US government will default on the debt for the interest on the debt might be too large to pay.

Now, Ron Paul didn’t say this, but if interest rates do rise that might be the 2008-like derivatives event that brings down banks since most derivatives are tied to interest rates and a rise of 2% might be in the wrong direction of most of their bets.

As Paul says, “The US dollar is built entirely on confidence, when that confidence dissolves so does everything else… That’s the weakness of paper money… Governments can declare it legal tender but they do not have power to give it value.”

Ron Paul also said that we may expect to see further suppression of privacy, and bank and brokerage closings.

Preparation

The infomercial then goes on to recommend a book called America 2020: The Survival Blueprint. It is prohibitively expensive in my opinion. Essentially, the things it suggests you do are not very different than what I and others have been saying: (a) buy silver coins, (b) get farmland even if just a few acres, and (c) get your wealth out of the US dollar.

The timing of Ron Paul’s message is interesting. He has been warning about a currency event for years, but only now has he been putting out this long and scripted message. Even if nothing happens September 13, the Second Signpost eventually will cause a currency event all on its own with its removal of the US Petrodollar.

In any event, get yourself ready. Minimize your holdings of U.S. dollar-denominated assets. This means getting out of US bonds, stocks and CDs. Put the money into other assets. Have maybe one month’s bills and groceries worth of cash in hand if you can afford it. Buy silver for barter. Buy gold for insuring larger amounts of wealth. It’s too late to plant a garden in most parts of the country but you can gather the materials and supplies needed to start one next year.

These are all things a household should do and have anyway. As Dr. Paul says in the message, “The more people who prepare themselves the better off we are all going to be” and “by the time we see a full blown currency crisis it will be too late to protect yourself.” Can you imagine what a source of blessing the Church could be if just one tenth of everyone calling themselves Christian would be prepared?

The Church by and large doesn’t want to believe a Second Signpost is coming, or that the Antichrist will be anything but European, but that the Rapture is just around the corner. How pathetic it is that God’s people who should be leading the charge for preparations because they are in fact supposed to be familiar with God’s word in Daniel 8 will be just as unprepared as the unsaved public. How many churchgoers might be angry at their Church leadership for not warning them about this?

I am not claiming to know exactly what will happen but I believe the above ideas are worth serious contemplation and prayer.

What I do know is that one day the antichrist will appear and many will be swept up in his lies and deception, including many who once claimed to be Christian.

The church must be ready to offer people refuge in the hope of Jesus Christ and to do that, we must remain a wake even while the culture drifts into apathetic slumber.

Now is the time to prepare.

““But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only. For as were the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, and they were unaware until the flood came and swept them all away, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. Then two men will be in the field; one will be taken and one left. Two women will be grinding at the mill; one will be taken and one left. Therefore, stay awake, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming. But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what part of the night the thief was coming, he would have stayed awake and would not have let his house be broken into. Therefore you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect. “Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom his master has set over his household, to give them their food at the proper time? Blessed is that servant whom his master will find so doing when he comes. Truly, I say to you, he will set him over all his possessions. But if that wicked servant says to himself, ‘My master is delayed,’ and begins to beat his fellow servants and eats and drinks with drunkards, the master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he does not know and will cut him in pieces and put him with the hypocrites. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭24:36-51‬ ‭ESV‬‬

Iran Nuclear Deal Secured: “A Bad Mistake Of Historic Proportions”

What a total disaster!

Negotiating a nuclear deal with Iran is crazy and it’s on Barack Obama’s hands – this and what comes after it.

One day and probably one day soon, Iran will invade the Middle East in fulfilment of the prophecy recorded in Daniel 8. Nuclear weapons would be a boon to that end.

It’s pretty clear that Iran wants to rule the Middle East and that dream won’t just disappear so that Obama can have a supposed foreign policy success on his record. Their pursuit of nukes will not stop.

Here’s the report:

Iran and six major world powers have reached a nuclear deal, capping more than a decade of on-off negotiations with an agreement that could potentially transform the Middle East.

Under the deal with Iran — agreed to by the United States, China, the United Kingdom, Russia, France and Germany — sanctions imposed by the US, European Union and United Nations will be lifted in return for Tehran agreeing to long-term curbs on a nuclear program that the West has suspected was aimed at creating a nuclear bomb.

Reaching a deal is a major policy victory for both United States president Barack Obama and Iran’s president Hassan Rouhani, a pragmatist elected two years ago on a vow to reduce Iran’s diplomatic isolation.

Both men face scepticism from powerful hardliners at home after decades of enmity between countries that referred to each other as “the Great Satan” and a member of the “axis of evil”.

Mr Obama said the deal offered a chance to move in a “new direction” in relations with Tehran, but promised a sceptical Israel that Washington would not abandon it.

“Our differences are real. The difficult history between the nations cannot be ignored. It is possible to change,” Mr Obama said.

“This deal offers an opportunity to move in a new direction. We should seize it.”

The US president nevertheless promised to “continue our unprecedented efforts to strengthen Israel’s security, efforts that go beyond what any administration has done before”.

Mr Rouhani pledged Iran “will never seek a nuclear weapon, with or without the implementation” of the deal.

He said live on state television that such weapons were “against our religion” and contradicted a decree from supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei barring the pursuit of an atomic bomb.

Mr Rouhani reiterated the point later in his speech, promising regional countries suspicious of Iran’s nuclear program that it has never and will not “seek to pressure” its neighbours.

‘We are starting a new chapter of hope’

Final talks in Vienna involved nearly three weeks of intense round-the-clock negotiations between US secretary of state John Kerry and Iran’s foreign minister Mohammad Javad Zarif.

“I believe this is a historic moment,” Mr Zarif told a joint news conference.

Timeline of the 13-year stand-off

World powers have reached a historic deal on Iran’s nuclear program — read a summary of the main developments during the long stand-off.

“We are reaching an agreement that is not perfect for anybody but it is what we could accomplish and it is an important achievement for all of us.

“Today could have been the end of hope on this issue. But now we are starting a new chapter of hope. Let’s build on that.”

EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini said the deal was about more than just the nuclear matter.

“It is a decision that can open the way to a new chapter in international relations and show that diplomacy, coordination, cooperation can overcome decades of tensions and confrontations,” she said.

“I think this is a sign of hope for the entire world.”

Western diplomats said under the final agreement, Iran had accepted a “snapback” mechanism, under which some sanctions could be reinstated in 65 days if it violated the deal.

A UN weapons embargo will remain in place for five years and a ban on buying missile technology will remain for eight years.

Israel slams deal as ‘bad mistake of historic proportions’

But hostility to the agreement from Washington’s closest ally in the Middle East was immediate.

Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu called the deal “a bad mistake of historic proportions”.

“Iran will get a jackpot, a cash bonanza of hundreds of billions of dollars, which will enable it to continue to pursue its aggression and terror in the region and in the world,” he said.

“Iran is going to receive a sure path to nuclear weapons.”

Israeli deputy foreign minister Tzipi Hotovely said on Twitter: “This deal is a historic surrender by the West to the axis of evil headed by Iran.

“Israel will act with all means to try and stop the agreement being ratified.”

A deal will still face scrutiny by the US Congress, controlled by opposition Republicans who are sceptical of the Obama administration’s overtures to a country that has been an enemy since Iranian revolutionaries stormed the US embassy in Tehran in 1979.

US allies in the region, particularly Israel and Saudi Arabia, are also worried about an agreement that would benefit Iran.

Tehran does not recognise Israel and supports its enemies. Arab states ruled by Sunni Muslims, particularly Saudi Arabia, believe Iran supports their foes in wars in Syria, Yemen and elsewhere.

But there is also strong reason for the US to improve its relations with Iran, as the two countries face a common foe in Islamic State, the Sunni Muslim militant group that has seized swathes of Syria and Iraq.

For Iran, the end of sanctions could bring a rapid economic boom by lifting restrictions that have drastically cut its oil exports and hurt its imports.

The prospect of a deal has helped push down global oil prices because of the possibility that Iranian supply could return to the market.

Netanyahu is right and in time we will all see that, guaranteed.

Peace for our time, indeed.

The Futurist Interpretation of Daniel 8: “…the vision is for the time of the end.”

The Book of Daniel gives us a glimpse at the empires and conflicts that will occur at the end of the age. Chapters two and seven present a statue of a man divided into four distinct metallic parts and four different beasts respectively which are unanimously interpreted as synonymous representations of four empires.

The general consensus in theology circles has been that these four empires are the Babylonian Empire, the Persian Empire, the Grecian Empire, and the Roman Empire.

However, there are good reasons to challenge these interpretations and consider a futurist interpretation which would relegate these prophecies to the end of the age.

One of the key proponents of the futurist interpretation is Mark Davidson, whose book Hidden In Plain Sight (revised as ‘Daniel Revisited’) and website The Four Signposts are well worth your time.

Davidson’s interpretation lays out the theory that the democratisation of Iraq in the last decade was the first of four key signposts preceding the revealing of the antichrist and he maintains that the second is possibly before us right now with these events in Iraq. Certainly, Davidson lays out a far more detailed presentation than I intend to here.

Daniel chapter eight memorably depicts a series of challenging symbolic images, including those of a ram, a goat, and a series of successive horns. Historically, these images have been interpreted as representing the Persian Empire which was then defeated by the Grecian Empire. Yet there are clear reasons to believe that this prophecy will only be fulfilled in events at the end of the age.

In Daniel 8, the prophet receives understanding about these images, clarifying that they refer to events at the end of the age:

So he came near where I stood. And when he came, I was frightened and fell on my face. But he said to me, “Understand, O son of man, that the vision is for the time of the end.” (Daniel 8:17 ESV)

And again:

He said, “Behold, I will make known to you what shall be at the latter end of the indignation, for it refers to the appointed time of the end. (Daniel 8:19 ESV)

If the key to these prophetic puzzles are a futurist interpretation, we can look to the Middle East with the expectation that these prophecies will be fulfilled near the end of the age and my personal conviction is that we are nearing the end of the age, so we could even be watching the foundations fall into place today.

Am I making the ever criticised error of date-setting? No. Allow me to elaborate.

What I am saying is that there are signs in the earth today that strongly indicate that people alive today may very well live to see the time of Jacob’s Trouble referred to in the scriptures, which ends with the victorious return of Jesus and his inauguration as Israel’s King.

An image that might help clarify my claim is that of the changing leaves on deciduous trees. Towards the end of summer, the leaves begin to change. In autumn, the leaves fall to the ground. Soon after that, winter arrives. All the signs showed me that winter was coming a good time before it arrived. If I can see the season changing, Then I should be preparing for the next season.

No surprises but this is exactly the image Jesus gives so that we will not be caught off guard.

“From the fig tree learn its lesson: as soon as its branch becomes tender and puts out its leaves, you know that summer is near. So also, when you see these things taking place, you know that he is near, at the very gates. Truly, I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place. (Mark 13:28-30 ESV)

In 70 A.D., Israel ceased to exist and did so until its unlikely restoration in 1948. Ever since, maintaining its existence has been a struggle. In recent times, the whole Middle East has been writhing in political turmoil and several key regional players have emerged: the ram and the goat.

The ram is regionally the Persian Empire, today occupied by Iran. They have been vying to be a nuclear power for a while and that ambition is likely still in place, despite their recent pleasantries with the United States. Their former President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was an outspoken adherent to Shiite Mahdism doctrine, frequently threatening Israel with utter destruction and promising the Islamisation of the world.

The goat is regionally the Grecian Empire, today occupied by Turkey. They were secular until Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan took office in 2003 and ever since, they have been on a steep descent back into their Islamic roots. Erdoğan has replaced significant military and media personnel, stripping Turkey of freedoms and increasing imposing elements of sharia law.

And in the middle of these two powers is the terrorist group ISIS, the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham, snaking its way from Syria across Sunni Iraq and beyond, if it is able. Turkey, being Sunni, is all for their advance. Iran, being Shiite, is backing the essentially powerless Shiite Iraqi government with military support to halt the advance.

So here we have the brewings and makings of a dangerous but scripturally expected conflict between two ancient regions. Scripture tells us that it’s the ram that seeks power first;

And I saw in the vision; and when I saw, I was in Susa the citadel, which is in the province of Elam. And I saw in the vision, and I was at the Ulai canal. I raised my eyes and saw, and behold, a ram standing on the bank of the canal. It had two horns, and both horns were high, but one was higher than the other, and the higher one came up last. I saw the ram charging westward and northward and southward. No beast could stand before him, and there was no one who could rescue from his power. He did as he pleased and became great. (Daniel 8:2-4 ESV)

Therefore, based upon what we see before us today, an empire headed by Iran would take control of at least Iraq, probably in a bid to see their eschatological hopes fulfilled in the reestablishment of the Caliphate which, according to their Shia doctrines, will probably usher forth the Mahdi.

Once again, if this interpretation of scripture is correct there would be a powerful and devastating response from Turkey which would establish it as the unchallenged power in the region:

As I was considering, behold, a male goat came from the west across the face of the whole earth, without touching the ground. And the goat had a conspicuous horn between his eyes. He came to the ram with the two horns, which I had seen standing on the bank of the canal, and he ran at him in his powerful wrath. I saw him come close to the ram, and he was enraged against him and struck the ram and broke his two horns. And the ram had no power to stand before him, but he cast him down to the ground and trampled on him. And there was no one who could rescue the ram from his power. Then the goat became exceedingly great, but when he was strong, the great horn was broken… (Daniel 8:5-8 ESV)

While these two passages in Daniel do quite accurately describe the ancient actions of the Persian and Grecian empires, neither of their victories nor defeats could be said to be “at the time of the end”. The very last event of these two images would be the death of Alexander and the division of his empire but even this was a long way out from the often interpreted end in 70 A.D. and I know of no other “time of the end” suggested by theologians.

Walid Shoebat presents a different angle on the same futurist interpretation, suggesting the following:

Such a move would be a radical policy shift for Turkey, a key U.S. ally and NATO member. Under the Turkish current policy, Ankara has been keen to preserve Iraq’s territorial unity in order to prevent a Kurdish state from being created, because such a development could promote separatist sentiments among Turkey’s own Kurdish minority of about 12 million people.

But the escalating Sunni-Shia sectarian war in Iraq is forcing (as is claimed) Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and other policymakers in Ankara to review that position, said Veysel Ayhan, director of the Ankara-based think tank International Middle East Peace Research Center (IMPR).

“The federal state [in Iraq] has not brought stability, so we have to discuss a new system, either a confederation or division,” Ayhan told The Daily Beast.

“Sunnis will not accept to live under Shia rule, and Shiites will not live under Sunnis. If Sunni and Shiites do not want to live with the other side, we can’t protect the unity of Iraq.”

Erdogan drew a similarly bleak picture of the situation on Thursday. Speaking to reporters in Ankara, he said the conflict in Iraq had gone beyond a mere confrontation between the Sunni extremists of ISIS and the army of the Shia-led central government in Baghdad. “It has turned into a real sectarian war,” Erdogan said.

A Turkish official close to the Prime Minister went further by saying Turkey realised that Iraq was falling apart.

“It has become clear for us that Iraq has practically become divided into three parts,” Huseyin Celik, spokesman for Erdogan’s ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP), told Rudaw, an Iraqi Kurdish media network based in Erbil, the capital city of the autonomous Kurdish region in northern Iraq. Celik was referring to Sunni, Shia and Kurdish sectors in the country.

Shoebat’s conclusion is an interesting one that would certainly pave the way for a Caliphate ‘race’;

But the real story is that Turkey is likely collaborating with Iran to divide not only Iraq, but the entire region to join either an Iranian Axis or the Turkish Axis.

I am not claiming that any of these theories are exactly how it will work out but rather that they represent possible explanations for what we are seeing in the Middle East today.

Regardless of how it eventuates, the evidence suggests that the vision of the ram and the goat remains a future reality that has been foreshadowed by types and patterns (the rise of Persia and then Greece) that help us understand.

Joel Richardson’s Consistent Futurist Interpretation of Daniel 8

The Middle East is primed for what might turn out to be a Third World War, likely between Sunni and Shia Islam.

Between Iran and Islamic State overtly vying for dominance and Turkey doing it on the down low, trouble is brewing.

It is my opinion that the coming years will bring about the fulfilment of many of the prophecies in the book of Daniel, specifically that of the ram and the goat detailed in Daniel chapter 8.

Joel Richardson, whom I credit with establishing the foundations and much more of my own journey into understanding the Islamic End Times paradigm, has recently released an important video that addresses this particular topic in the context of the many troubles occurring in the Middle East.

I encourage every Christian to seriously consider this message and to be informed about God’s end times purposes. This can be difficult and it does take time but this is always the case for anything worth doing.
