Some More Terrifyingly Accurate Commentary On The Trump Phenomenon (Which Is A Consequence Of The Success Of The Obama Phenomenon)

Look, Hillary is exactly the same too so don’t go thinking there will be a winner when one of these two gets elected – there will only be losers.

The States, the Free World, everyone.

Time to stop trusting in human leadership and look to the God-man Jesus.

Why would millions of Americans rally behind a Republican presidential candidate who, according to every poll, and at a rate plunge precisely commensurate with the number of times he opens his mouth, has a zero percent chance of winning the general election?

It’s simple. America’s mood is revolutionary – like, in an Emancipation Proclamation kind of way. Our present political climate, an antagonistic cacophony of cultural discord, rage and exasperation by the unwashed masses with our party establishment “better-thans,” is like nothing we’ve ever seen or imagined.

Or is it?

Dutch politician and historian Guillaume Groen van Prinsterer (1801-1876) is credited with what seems an eerily prescient foreshadowing of the bizarre phenomenon that is “Trump 2016.”

“Pent-up anger and long-held frustration due to economic stagnation, moral decay, spiritual impotency, and political corruption,” he opined, “invariably pave the way for the rise of crass manipulators. Instead of a mastery of truth, such revolutionary opportunists tap into fear and rage, ignorance and prejudice, staging great public spectacles of narcissism.”

It’s human nature. Such sense of hopelessness, anger, betrayal and frustration can lead otherwise good people (some of whom I respect and admire) to make very bad decisions – to exercise poor judgment.

It gave us Barack Obama in 2008.

And Donald Trump in 2016.

trump america againIndeed, we’ve moved seamlessly from “Hope” and “Change We Can Believe In,” to “Make America Great Again.” It’s as though van Prinsterer had a crystal ball through which to keep tabs on the Donald’s ivory Trump Tower office suite.
“Pent-up anger and long-held frustration due to economic stagnation, moral decay, spiritual impotency, and political corruption. …”

No honest person – though President Obama, a decidedly dishonest person, yet tries – can say with a straight face that we have not entered an era of “economic stagnation.” With trillions in debt, tens-of-millions of Americans dependent on unfunded “social justice” programs, and millions more having given up on looking for work altogether, we’re actually teetering on the precipice of total economic collapse.

Moral decay, spiritual impotency, and political corruption? That’s America 2016 in toto. Since 1973 we’ve sacrificed nearly 60 million of our most innocent fellow citizens at Baal’s altar of convenience and “equality.”

Just this past June we had five radical lawyers on the U.S. Supreme Court thumb their nose at natural law, shake their fist at God and presume to deconstruct and redefine the institution of marriage to include the “especially abominable sin of Sodom.” This, while an increasingly apostate Christian church sat idly by and did little-to-nothing or, worse, affirmatively endorsed this shameful desecration of God’s created order.

I needn’t elaborate on Washington’s systemic culture of political corruption. They no longer even try to fake it. The betrayal has cut to the quick.

Enter Donald Trump – a several-times-bankrupt, big-government globalist, pro-socialized medicine, pro-abortion, pro-“gay marriage,” lifelong liberal Democrat – to save the day. That is, at least, to peddle the right kind of snake oil and bark the right kind of empty “Make America Great Again” platitudes that festering wounds crave and itching ears want to hear.

“… invariably pave the way for the rise of crass manipulators.”

Crass manipulator? No two words better describe Mr. Trump. Unless, of course, you consider it classy when a leading presidential candidate, an unrepentant serial adulterer, personally attacks his political opponents as “stupid liars,” sleazily suggesting that their wives are ugly (Heidi Cruz is a lovely woman both inside and out), brags about the size of his manhood from the debate stage, or habitually and unapologetically verbally abuses women – somebody’s wives, mothers and daughters – by calling them “pigs,” “ugly,” “fat” or “great pieces of a–.”

Trump recently boasted that he’s “such a good Christian.” Inexplicably, many Christians believe him. Or, at least, they really, really want to.

I pray that someday he will be – that Donald Trump might have a genuine coming to Christ and that, as Jesus told us would happen once he does, he might reflect this transformation in and through the righteous fruits of his words and deeds.
Like each of us, Jesus is Donald’s only chance at salvation.

“Instead of a mastery of truth, such revolutionary opportunists tap into fear and rage, ignorance and prejudice. …”

That’s all Mr. Trump has to work with – “fear, rage, ignorance and prejudice.” As absurdly demonstrated time and again, he’s completely devoid of substance and, when pressed to articulate even a modicum of evidence that he maintains but a middle schoolers grasp on the issues, deflects the question by personally attacking the questioner with the most shrill, jarring and vulgar of ad hominem name calling.

The man is a political chameleon. Over and over again, he somehow gets away with wholly reversing himself on any given position, on any given issue, on any given day – sometimes within hours of making a completely contradictory, and often incoherent, position statement.

Even so, to his cult of personality, the Trumpster remains the Teflon Don.
“… staging great public spectacles of narcissism.”

Angry Donald TrumpAs contemporary political figures go, and second to Barack Obama alone, Donald Trump represents the caricature of wounded narcissism (a self-centeredness that likely stems from insecurity). You needn’t ask, but he’s all too happy to tell you anyway. “I am a really smart guy,” he constantly reminds us. “I’m intelligent. Some people would say I’m very, very, very intelligent.”

“Sorry, losers and haters,” he has said, “but my I.Q. is one of the highest – and you all know it!”

I don’t doubt it. History has shown that “crass manipulators” and “revolutionary opportunist,” as van Prinsterer called them, are, generally speaking, very intelligent.
Of the Dutch historian’s seemingly prophetic statement, columnist and Pastor John Kirkwood asks, “Prescient or just discerning? This [the Trump phenomenon] couldn’t come true if it were not for the decline of the conservative mind. This couldn’t be happening if it were not for the faithlessness of the believer. Yet, we stand in judgment over other nations that have been conquered by fear, rage, ignorance and prejudice, and in our hubris exclaim, ‘It could never happen here.’”

Yet here it happens.

And what of the “faithlessness of the believer”? What of this demonstrably incongruous wave of Christian support for Donald Trump?

Van Prinsterer might have blamed it on widespread “moral decay” and “spiritual impotency.” I mostly agree.

Still, for the church, at least, and insofar as concerns many Christians’ wayward support (in my view) for this man of the world, I think the phenomenon can more precisely be described as “moral indifference” and “spiritual adultery.”

It’s a lack of faithfulness – a trusting in the things of this world, rather than in the promises of God.

“Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.” (James 4:4).

It’s better not to hedge your bet with the Creator of the universe.

Leftists Riot At Trump Gathering And It’s Trumps Fault?

Now, we can criticise Trump for a few things but when it comes to failures as President, we can’t actually call him out on that one yet.

Likewise, when people turn up and violently riot against Trump and his supporters, can anyone in their right mind justify blaming him for it?

Mind you, this is from the same people who blame Christians when they are persecuted so I suppose it’s to be expected these days.

Trump candidacy and run for President of the United States isn’t a true revolution were dashed by last night’s near-riot in Chicago from the American Left-wing. However, this left wing also includes the GOP “establishment,” which for years was called the “Rockefeller Wing of the Republican Party”…the group which was joined at the hip with the Democrats and would come to be known as part and parcel to the New World Order.

The establishment — both Democrat and Republican — is now coming out of the shadows. This includes all 3 of the other GOP candidates. Cruz and Rubio are blaming Trump, of course, and Rubio when asked said that he didn’t know if he would now support Trump as the GOP candidate if Trump wins the primaries.

Note: both Rubio and Cruz have direct ties to Goldman-Sachs (the so-called “Bank of the World”).

Trump is now being blamed for the violence perpetrated by those who want to shut him up.

This is what the beginnings of any and/or all revolutions encounter folks. When truth is finally spoken, those who profit from lies strike back at the truth-tellers. The would be masters of their fellow humans are cowed by the truth and those who speak it…frightened to such an extent that they will do anything to stop them. Trump’s rallies have always been peaceful, with the exception of the paid agitators and protesters.

Last night’s near-riot by the Left (courtesy of Moveon.org, which was started by George Soros), and likely with collaborating GOP establishment, was to show We-the-People what we’re in for if we continue to fight the enslavement they have planned for us.

Those candidates who want have no real intention of rocking the boat and want to continue with business as usual and the decline of our country (think Hillary, Cruz, Rubio and Kasich) speak out against those who want to reestablish free enterprise, prosperity, freedom of expression and the ability to choose one’s own life path are not only vilified but, are to be stopped in any way necessary. When the other 3 candidates support the illegals entering our country (don’t listen to what they say…check what they’ve actually done), letting in those with an ideology of destroying our country from entering it (Islam is the most violent ideology on the planet and was written to be so by it’s “prophet” Muhammad) and shutting down those who would have the audacity to actually cite the ways in which to fix the problems are nothing more than pawns of the global elitists and one-world-government group. These types must no longer rise to power.

Revolutions are seldom-to-never pretty and we’re experiencing the beginning salvos. But…they do bring Liberty…something we in the USA have not had in a very long time. It’s the other side that brings thistles for grapes.

“Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?”–Matthew 7:16

And here’s another account of the situation:

The riot planned and executed by the Left at the canceled Donald Trump campaign rally in Chicago on Friday was just the latest in a long series of mob disturbances manufactured by radicals to advance their political agendas.

Even so, it is a particularly poisonous assault on the American body politic that imperils the nation’s most important free institution – the ballot.

“The meticulously orchestrated #Chicago assault on our free election process is as unAmerican as it gets,” tweeted actor James Woods. “It is a dangerous precedent.”

This so-called protest, and the disruptions at subsequent Trump events over the weekend, were not spontaneous, organic demonstrations. The usual culprits were involved behind the scenes. The George Soros-funded organizers of the riot at the University of Illinois at Chicago relied on the same fascistic tactics the Left has been perfecting for decades – including claiming to be peaceful and pro-democracy even as they use violence to disrupt the democratic process.

Activists associated with MoveOn, Black Lives Matter, and Occupy Wall Street, all of which have been embraced by Democrats and funded by radical speculator George Soros, participated in shutting down the Trump campaign event. Soros recently also launched a $15 million voter-mobilization effort against Trump in Colorado, Florida, and Nevada through a new super PAC called Immigrant Voters Win. The title is a characteristic misdirection since Trump supports immigration that is legal. It’s the invasion of illegals who have not been vetted and are filling America’s welfare rolls and jails that is the problem.

Among the extremist groups involved in disrupting the Trump rally in Chicago were the revolutionary communist organization ANSWER (Act Now to Stop War and End Racism), National Council of La Raza (“the Race”), and the Illinois Coalition of Immigrant and Rights Reform. President Obama’s unrepentant terrorist collaborator Bill Ayers, who was one of the leaders of Days of Rage the precursor riot at the Democratic convention in Chicago in 1968, also showed up to stir the pot.

The goal was to help reinforce the media narrative that Trump is a dangerous authoritarian figure who needs to be stopped now before he upsets too many people and proclaims himself emperor, or some fevered fantasy like that. The organized rioters who showed up at UIC to taunt and bait Trump supporters, hoped to generate compelling TV clips that could be used to attack the Republican front-runner.

The people who infiltrated the Trump rally and attacked his supporters weren’t mere protesters and were not nonviolent. By now, after decades of getting away with lawlessness and mayhem, nonviolent left-wing protesters are as rare as four-leaf clovers.

They are violent agitators, trained in Alinsky-style disruption, aiming to shut Trump and his supporters down by any means they can get away with. These modern-day brownshirts use force and the threat of force to harass and intimidate, and to provoke people who have come to a peaceful assembly to hear their candidate speak.

“Many of these people come from Bernie [Sanders],” Trump said, pointing out how since the 1968 riot at the Democratic convention street radicals and party radicals have become a seamless force. On “Face the Nation” Trump called them “professional disrupters” a polite name for incipient fascists.

Since the liberal media was already blaming him for the anti-Trump thuggery, he told them, “I don’t accept responsibility,” Trump said on Sunday TV. “I do not condone violence in any shape.”

In speeches since Friday Trump regularly invokes Bernie Sanders when an activist disrupts. He calls them “Bernie’s people.” At one stop, Trump said, “Get ’em out. Hey Bernie, get your people in line.”

Although Sanders supporters are well-represented among the anti-Trump thugs, the self-described socialist senator from Vermont denied the charge. But Bernie’s campaign is so focused on demonizing the rich and blaming them for America’s problems, the hatred he is retailing can reasonably be called an incitement to those who buy his propaganda and support him.

Sanders after all is a lifetime admirer of Communist states like the Soviet Union and Cuba where this kind of thuggery is a political norm. So even if he’s telling the truth and did give the orders to his followers to be there, he’s lying. They came because they hate rich people too.

Major organizations of the left who are backing Sanders, like Moveon.org openly bragged about trampling on Trump’s free speech rights in Chicago, and promised more of it.

Incredibly, instead of blaming the Left for the attacks on Trump, all three of Trump’s remaining rivals for the GOP nomination are joining the left in blaming him for the violence that unfolded. If the roles were reversed, leftists would call it blaming the victim.

Continuing the scorched earth policy that has damaged his campaign Marco Rubio laid the blame at Trump’s door. “This is what a culture and a society looks like when everyone goes around saying whatever the heck they want. The result is, it all breaks down. It’s called chaos. It’s called anarchy and that’s what we’re careening towards.”

Breaking of ranks on the right in order to blame Trump is a betrayal that has ominous implications for the future of the conservative cause.

Rubio and John Kasich have gone even further, wavering on their pledge to support Trump if he wins the party’s nomination.

Rubio downplays the fact that it’s the activist Left that is generating chaos, not Donald Trump and his supporters, a dagger aimed right at the heart of the Republican coalition.

Robert Spencer reflects that these Republican attacks “have tacitly encouraged the rioters by claiming that Trump is at least partially responsible for what they did.” It’s a re-imposition of political correctness. Spencer explains: “In that scenario, you see, it becomes incumbent upon Trump not to say anything that Leftist thugs might dislike, or he will bear partial responsibility for what they do. Cruz, Rubio and Kasich, of course, will also have to be careful not to ‘create an environment’ that might force the Left-fascists to shut them down as well. But unless they become clones of Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton, they will inevitably end up creating that ‘environment’ anyway, despite their being more decorous and careful than Trump. And then they will be responsible for what they get, won’t they?”

The left didn’t need a Trump provocation. For the left, the issue is never the issue: the issue is always the revolution, that is, the war against Amerikkka, as an SDS radical put it many years ago. Everything is an excuse to advance the radical cause.

Meanwhile, leftist Alex Seitz-Wald wrote a glowing review at NBC.com of the activists’ anti-democratic efforts in Chicago, as if silencing candidates were a legitimate form of political activity as American as apple pie. “What made Chicago different,” Seitz wrote, were its scale and the organization behind the effort. Hundreds of young, largely black and brown people poured in from across the city, taking over whole sections of the arena and bracing for trouble. And as the repeated chants of ‘Ber-nie’ demonstrated, it was largely organized by supporters of Sanders, the Democratic presidential candidate who has struggled to win over black voters but whose revolutionary streak has excited radicals of all racial demographics.”

Seitz urged his readers to “‘Remember the #TrumpRally wasn’t just luck. It took organizers from dozens of organizations and thousands of people to pull off. Great work,’ tweeted People for Bernie, a large unofficial pro-Sanders organization founded by veterans of the Occupy movement and other leftist activists.”

Chicago is overrun by radical leftists and is in a constant state of turmoil nowadays so throwing together a demonstration against anyone to the right of Che Guevara wasn’t too difficult a task. Sanders backers and Black Lives Matter thugs were easy to find on social media. At the UIC campus, the Black Student Union and a group called Fearless and Undocumented got to work recruiting disrupters.

Illegal alien Jorge Mena, a graduate student at UIC, started a petition at MoveOn.org demanding the school cancel the event. It garnered in excess of 50,000 signatures including UIC faculty. MoveOn paid for signs and a banner and emailed its Chicagoland members, urging them to get involved.

On the night of the rally, activists snuck into the venue and assembled at “designated multiple rallying points around the venue to avoid arousing suspicion of authorities with large congregations,” Seitz-Wald writes.

“As activists slipped into the lines, they were told to blend in with the crowd and act natural. Inside, about 100 protesters received coveted orange wristbands allowing them access to the floor. Even as organizers tried to maintain calm, some scuffles with Trump fans started right away, and police began removing people.” And that was all that was necessary. The powder was in place and the fuse was lit. But then Trump consulted with his security people and cancelled the event.

This is only the beginning, regardless of whether Trump secures the GOP nomination for president. Socialism is coming to America – at the ballot box and in the streets.

Imagine A World Where Christian Terrorists Murder Muslims In The Name Of The Cross

It sure makes for an amusing fantasy and doubles as a great means of highlighting and underscoring the raging hypocrisy of Islamofacists (both Muslims and leftists):

Writing in the Kuwaiti daily Al-Rai, Nadine Al-Budair asks how Muslims would react if western youths acting in the name of Christ blew themselves up in their midst. She also slams Muslim attempts to absolve themselves of guilt by saying that terrorists do not represent Islam, calling such disclaimers “pathetic.”

Taking the largest acts of terror from the last couple of decades, Al-Budair, who today lives in Qatar, wonders what would have happened if they had been perpetrated in the Arab world. Citing terrorist groups like the Islamic states desire to impose 7th century Sharia law, Al-Budair writes:

Imagine a Western youth coming here and carrying out a suicide mission in one of our public squares in the name of the Cross. Imagine that two skyscrapers had collapsed in some Arab capital, and that an extremist Christian group, donning millennium-old garb, had emerged to take responsibility for the event, while stressing its determination to revive Christian teachings or some Christian rulings, according to its understanding, to live like in the time [of Jesus] and his disciples, and to implement certain edicts of Christian scholars.

She asks readers to imagine a world in which Christians call Muslims “infidels” and pray that God will eliminate them all. She continues by conjuring an Arab world that grants foreigners visas, citizenship, jobs, free education, and healthcare, and then asks what would happen if one of those foreigners killed Arabs indiscriminately.

Referencing American engineer Paul Marshall Johnson, who was abducted and beheaded by Al-Qaeda operatives in Saudi Arabia in 2004, Al- Budair writes:
“Imagine a Frenchmen or a German in Paris or Berlin leading his Muslim neighbor [somewhere] in order to slaughter him and then freeze his head in an ice box, in a cold and calculating manner … as one terrorist did with the head of an American in Riyadh years ago.”

The liberal writer condemns Muslims for thinking it is within their rights to condemn Trump’s statement rather than “address the implications of some of our extremist curricula, our education, and our regimes, and [to] be ashamed” of them.

Regarding Trump, she wrote:

“However, how much longer [will this last]? Today things are different. [Western] anger [at Muslims] is apparent, and they make scary declarations. One who recently championed [these views] is Donald Trump, who demanded to bar Muslims from entering the U.S.

“It is strange that we [Muslims] believe we have the right to condemn such statements rather than address the implications of some of our extremist curricula, our education, and our regimes, and be ashamed [of them]… It is strange that we condemn [the West] instead of addressing what is happening in our midst – the extremist ways in which we interpret the shari’a and our reactionary attitudes towards each other and the world. It is strange that we condemn instead of apologizing to the world.”

She takes the Muslim world to task for continuing to condemn the West instead of addressing its own radicalism, which holds that killing Westerners is part of a holy jihad that “leads to virgins of paradise.”

“It is strange that we condemn instead of apologizing to the world,” Al-Budair write. She says that claims made by Muslims that those who commit terrorism do not represent Islam are “farces” and “pathetic” attempts to absolve Muslims of guilt.

The Problems With Trump

It’s almost inconceivable that Trump would do a worse job than Obama, namely because Obama has made it clear that he hates everything America was founded on: Christianity, Capitalism, religious freedom, and limited government.

Trump likes at least one of these things (and may perhaps tolerate some others) so, for those not mathematically inclined, one out of four trumps none.

The question is how much better could he do?

Bill Muehlenberg offers some sound reflections on Trump:

This is my first full piece on Donald Trump, but it more than likely will not be my last. The front-runner for the Republicans for the White House is certainly generating plenty of discussion and controversy, and it is vital for all true Christians to consider him – and the other remaining contenders – very prayerfully and carefully.

And as usual, I must quickly dispense with various wrong answers or unbiblical extremes. As I recently said in a radio interview, the idea that believers can just pray while ignoring politics is greatly mistaken. That is to renounce our responsibilities as believers to be good citizens and to be salt and light.

But equally wrong is the idea that some politician or political party is going to somehow save us – or in this case, America. The Christian understands that ultimately only Christ can save a nation, and no mere human can even come close.

But government is God’s idea, and righteousness exalts a nation. So who is governing does matter, and clearly some politicians, parties and policies are better than others. So we need to get the biblical balance right here. We must pray of course but we must also get involved in the political process, if at the very least by voting wisely.

The original field of 17 Republican contenders has now narrowed to five: three conservatives (Cruz, Rubio and Carson), one RINO (Kasich) and Trump. At first I and many other Christians and conservatives thought Trump might have a few things going for him, but the more we learn about him, the less appealing he becomes.

trump 5One can certainly see the appeal of someone like Trump. He socks it to ‘em. He speaks his mind. He is not a Washington insider. He is willing to say what many will not say. He is not PC. He is riding on the high levels of disillusionment with both major parties.

As Christian commentator J D Hall explains:

I’ll tell you why people like Donald Trump. He doesn’t care. He doesn’t care what Hollywood celebs think. He doesn’t care what Beltway career politicians think. He doesn’t care what Russell Moore thinks. He doesn’t care what journalists think. He doesn’t care what CNN or MSNBC or even FOX thinks. I kind of get the impression he doesn’t care what the crowds he speaks to think. If he doesn’t win the presidency, he’ll go back to being rich and famous. Frankly, that’s a breath of fresh air. For 30 years, everyone in America has been walking on politically correct egg shells. We’ve all been hunkered down in fear of being called what evangelicals are calling Trump – racist, misogynist, jingoistic, bigoted, egotistical, self-centered. We all want to vote for a guy who doesn’t care. Trump is almost guaranteed to bring the “change” we’ve been hearing about every four years. The only question is if it’s good change. But for many voters, any change is good change.

That is the real issue. Obama of course promised hope and change, but look at how that turned out. Not all change is good change. Yes I too am sick of the Washington cartel, as Cruz puts it. Yes I want some bold, fearless and non-PC leaders to come and clean things up in Washington big time.

But I really question whether Trump is the man. He of course is not a Christian, and one can strongly argue that he is not a conservative either. Most of his life was spent pushing progressive and liberal causes, and much of his wealth has gone to Democrats.

It is not just politics, but questions of his character. And character does matter. As I wrote long ago, if you cannot even be true to your own wife, how can we trust you to be true to the nation? As I wrote 18 years ago:

Our real problems today are not economic problems. Nor are they political problems. Our real problems have to do with values, with character, with morality. A country can survive a current account deficit, but it cannot for long survive a value deficit. And the first place to begin in restoring this value deficit is to reaffirm character, integrity and morality, both private and public.

It is interesting to note that character was the only consideration enumerated by the American founding fathers as relevant to qualifications to serve in public office. A person’s politics, philosophy or ideology may be important, but the most important qualification is character. Without good character, good government is not possible.

Indeed, more than one commentator has noted that morality, more than anything else, is the key to a healthy and lasting democracy. Politics skills can be learned, policies adjusted. But without character, a nation will soon flounder on the rocks of moral relativism.

We are seeing such an unravelling of the commonweal now. The need for leadership based on character and values is now our most pressing need. We need to recall the words of George Washington in his farewell address: “Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports.”

We have paid a terrible price in the false separation of morality from social problems. Australia’s (and America’s) rising tide of social pathology will only be reversed when we once again acknowledge that character and morality are not optional extras, but are the essence of civilised society.

And plenty of evangelical leaders of late have been writing about Trump’s character – or lack thereof. George Otis Jr is one of many, and he just penned a piece today on this.

He writes:

The truth is Donald Trump has two ruined (of his own) marriages, and is now on his third (with a woman who has posed for lesbian porn). He has made a bank-full of money from casino operations, owned strip joints and a vodka business, and acknowledged no need of repentance before a holy God. And yet he has garnered the endorsements of Christian luminaries like Sarah Palin, Jerry Falwell, Jr., Phyllis Schlafly, and Duck Dynasty’s Willie Robertson. Go figure.

A Trump vote is primarily a protest vote: ‘a pox on both your houses’. And fair enough in one sense. But we need more than a mere protest. One can argue that various dictators got in on a protest vote. Simply lashing out at what is broken, while simply opting for something or someone else that is broken is not the answer.

But the Trump supporters will say we need someone who is a strong leader, who speaks his mind, and is not worried about what others think. ‘Trump is a winner’ they say. Yes, but the same can be said about plenty of other leaders, including Hitler.

We need a principled winner, not a megalomaniac whose only priority is himself. Simply winning may solve nothing, and just make matters worse. Indeed, unless we address America’s spiritual problems, no mere man – no matter how strong and forthright – will make much difference.

As Otis says:

If we think the dysfunction in Washington, DC is anything other than a reflection of our own selfishness, compromise, and neglect, we are seriously deceived. And it does no good to talk of deliverance if we are unwilling to break the habit of blame shifting. It is easy to fixate on the government’s shortcomings, but we cannot afford to overlook our own. As Os Guinness so aptly puts it, “The problem is not the wolves at the door. It is the termites in the floor.” Whether Evangelicals will recognize this danger in time is an open question — but our recent migration to ungodly, narcissistic candidates is not an encouraging sign.

Or as Michael Brown recently put it, “Simply stated, I firmly believe that our greatest problems are moral and spiritual, not economic or otherwise, and to think that we can make America great again by securing our borders, defeating ISIS and rebuilding our economy, without first addressing the moral rot in our society, is to deceive ourselves gravely.”

Yes quite so. Yet everyone prefers the quick fix and the easy way out. They think that a quick vote at the ballot box will deal with our troubles and make everything good again.

Far too many Christians think this way as well. After all, if they think they can pop a magic pill for instant spirituality, why not for the political arena?

Lazy and carnal Christians prefer a political messiah to come along and solve everything instead of doing the biblical hard work of 2 Chronicles 7:14. Why bother to repent and humble yourselves and pray and seek God’s face when you can just vote for Trump?

Why get on your faces before Almighty God and agonise over your own sins and the sins of a nation when you can just pin your hopes on a fast-talking political contender? Getting Trump to restore America to greatness sounds good, and is a pain-free option.

But the only ultimate answer to America’s malaise and decline is if God’s people get on their knees and repent. Until that happens, we are likely toast. Yes if it ends up between Trump and Clinton, I may still very grudgingly vote for Trump. However, each new day makes me really wonder about that.

Just opting out from voting is not the biblical answer. But what then are the best alternatives if a genuine conservative does not get the nomination? Do we go for an independent, or third party? Both options will pretty much guarantee Hillary or Bernie will win and finish off Obama’s job of destroying America.

All avenues are looking real grim and will take a lot of careful praying and thinking by believers if Trump does win the bid. Political realists will argue (and I have at least some sympathy for them) that if we opt out of voting for Trump and allow the Dems to get in, we are creating real trouble. The debate in part centres on how much less bad – if at all – Trump will be than the two Democrats.

We are in a difficult place here and need a lot of divine wisdom on all this. But for the time being we still have much better choices with folks like Cruz who are real Christians and real conservatives. And in future articles I will seek to make the case for why we need someone like Cruz as POTUS.

We really must pray and work like never before here. Even if a real solid conservative gets in on November 8, that still guarantees nothing as to America’s future. It may just slow down the rot for a few years, and God’s judgment may well still be upon the land.

John Calvin spoke in his Institutes about how God allows evil rulers as a form of punishment on a nation. If Clinton or Sanders get in, and maybe even Trump, we may well be in for some real divine – and rightly deserved – judgment. Lord have mercy.

There are plenty of better candidates. Pray that one gets the nomination.

Obama Funds The Mass Murder Of Babies And Promotes Homosexuality, Gets An Eight Year Pass But Trump Wants To Stop Immigration And The Pope Says “He Is Not Christian”

Seriously?

Don’t get me wrong – it’s pretty doubtful that Trump is a Christian (I’m not sure Trump actually claims to be a follower of Jesus but I haven’t looked too hard) but where’s the love of Jesus in funding the mass murder of babies not only in your own country but also abroad?

Why does Obama get free pass after free pass from so many leftist-deluded Christians? (The mainstream media is just a given these days)

And are the leftist ABC suggesting that we should vote for Trump because they are promoting what the Pope has said?

After all, these types are always claiming there should be a separation of church and state, which, in their minds means Christians should not be allowed to express any opinion publicly and certainly never have any control over politics.

So I guess Trump – not a Christian according to the Pope – is the atheist man of the hour?

Doubtful.

Walid Shoebat’s article offers an interesting perspective which highlights the hypocrisy of the Pope and the mainstream media in their focussed attacks on Trump at the expense of issues where people are actually being brutally murdered (it’s not about abortion but let’s not forget those dead millions when we consider this hypocrisy):

So which is it? Is the Pope the ‘politician’ as Trump says while the Pope accuses Trump of not being a “Christian”? Or is it that both are wrong? Or is it that the Pope in his humanitarian thinking is unintentionally aiding and abetting the drug business by calling on Trump not to erect a wall?

I stand with Trump. The Pope should render unto God what is God’s and to the sheep what is for the sheep and let the ceasars do what caesars do and let God be the judge of Trump’s Protestant faith. The Pope should fight the evil drug-cult epidemic in Mexico instead of enabling it. Over a hundred thousand Catholics murdered by the schismatic Protestant Los Templarios cult and the schismatic Catholic Santa Muerte cult and all the Pope is doing is hone in on Trump? The whole church (Protestant and Catholic) has fallen away. Pope Francis: you should put on sackcloth and lament the fallen and the martyrs in Mexico before you lament over a wall. Did the Pope dare call the evil President of Mexico Enrique Peña Nieto as “unChristian” with the whole lot of the Mexican parliament who aid and abet evil?

Pope Francis took umbrage at comments Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has made about immigrants, saying in an interview that the real estate mogul was “not Christian.”

The pope’s strong dismissal of Trump was in response to measures Trump has proposed on the campaign trail, including building a wall along the U.S.-Mexican border and deporting millions of undocumented immigrants living and working in the U.S.

When asked by a reporter, “Can a good Catholic vote for this man?” Francis responded by saying, “Thank God he said I was a politician, because Aristotle defined the human person as ‘animal politicus.’ So at least I am a human person. As to whether I am a pawn — well, maybe, I don’t know. I’ll leave that up to your judgment and that of the people.”

He continued: “And then, a person who thinks only about building walls, wherever they may be, and not building bridges, is not Christian. This is not in the gospel. As far as what you said about whether I would advise to vote or not to vote, I am not going to get involved in that. I say only that this man is not Christian if he said things like that. We must see if he said things in that way and in this I give the benefit of the doubt.”

The pope made these remarks before he concluded his visit to Mexico, which included a public Mass at the U.S.-Mexico border. Tens of thousands of people from both countries gathered for Mass.

Even before the pope’s comments were released today, Trump had already taken issue with the pope’s trip to Mexico, arguing that the pontiff was playing politics.

In an interview with Fox Business, Trump called Pope Francis “a very political person.”

“I don’t think he understands the danger of the open border we have with Mexico,” Trump said.

During his candidacy announcement, Trump said Mexican immigrants are “bringing drugs, they’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people.”

Has the Pope said anything about the thousands of people in Mexico have been kidnapped and their organs removed for the purpose of selling them or using them in satanic and cannibalistic rituals.

This has been occurring in Mexico and is still happening as we speak. It is a holocaust that is going underreported, and hence we are writing on this dismal reality, to show you what evils the heretics and pagans of Mexico are doing.

A priest by the name of Alejandro Solalinde also revealed a horrifying report: that the bodies of some of the victims were moved to a university in the US to be dissected, with people in the university knowing that the bodies were those of innocent people captured and murdered by Mexican cartel criminals. Fr. Solalinde spoke with the American consulate on this issue and they told him that the situation of organs selling is very “delicate, and he also found out that some very important people are involved in organs selling. The priest said “traffic of that caliber can not be achieved without the complicity of senior government officials, we are talking about a business that makes a lot more money at the expense of migrants, nobody is going to ask for them, we are talking about more than $ 100,000 or $ 150,000 for every body.”

In one example, in the Villa Victor-Chinicuila, which lies right near Jalisco, a truck was stopped at a checkpoint and inside was absolutely horrifying: frozen bodies of children and others, all with missing organs. According to one Mexican militiaman:

In Villa Victoria-Chinicuila, almost near to Jalisco, at a checkpoint there was stopped a truck with frozen bodies, some were children and they were missing some organs …no one knew what happened to them … From one year to date there has been seen naked, open bodies, with nothing inside

First there were some doubts that such evils were taking place, but these doubts were dissipated when reports of countless bodies discovered without organs were heard. Reports of poor Central American migrants being kidnapped and disemboweled for their organs have also been heard, and have spread terror throughout. The bodies of these victims have been scattered throughout the wilderness, the murderers knowing that if anything happened to them nobody would fight for justice after their deaths.

The modus operandi of the cartel is to search for parents or mothers with children, rarely groups of men because they are more difficult to ‘catch’, take them to a kind of farm or safe houses, right there, with staff dedicated to extraction, and they perform the procedure for obtaining organs.

One of the individuals heavily involved in the kidnapping and organ stealing of innocent people was one Kike Plancarte, a major member of the anti-Catholic Protestant cult, Los Caballeros Templarios, who was killed in a gunfight in 2014. Although he has been dead for two years now, the kidnapping of and stealing organs from innocent people continues.

In one situation a truck was discovered and in it were hearts and different organs. The police came to the scene but no one knows of what transpired in the criminal case. Obviously the Mexican government is doing nothing, since 98% of murders in Mexico go unsolved. The militiaman said that the media has been reporting that the stories are “pure lies and legends that do not even exist,” but the reason for the propaganda is because while “the government knows about it,” it “has interests” since “it costs thousands for one liver, for example… it is fortunate that we saw it (the truck), we deliver it to the police, they know it exist but have remained silent out of fear and because also they negotiate with them (the criminals) and make a profit.” The militiaman went on to explain:

In the canyons, where nobody walks, but only those who know the areas we monitor, I saw bodies that are not of the community, and they are women. We knew that many migrants have a fate, but for years the clandestine graves hide hundreds of deaths, but they are not the same, these bodies are leftovers

He went on to explain how the bodies are cut with precision, from the neck downwards. He also said that children are a frequent target, “perhaps because they are younger, healthier.”

“We started beating about careful, because the only people who could be involved in that was on drugs, we talked to villagers in Michoacán was Kike Plancarte who had started the business with other members of his family, that he struck what it cost a body and having both migrant in the country, was a waste not to use them, and how what happens to one happens to the other, we began to take care and combing the area, if we were in the spotlight, but nothing happened.

A few months ago, when it seemed that no longer passed many drug shipments we have a truck that stopped because we were going to surrender to the police, for these areas with a large transport could only be drugs, we could stop them, but it was a horrible thing, were hearts, livers were all scared little ones, it was a human butcher “.

Goes on to explain that the police took over, but the truck disappeared, no one knew where he went and what happened to the bodies, what we do know is that it was not even a week when they found that those who were guarding the truck and they detained were released, the police asked for explanations but ignored them and insulted them.

FBI agents are now in possession of photographs that prove organ trafficking in Mexico and that they are killing migrants. The images show mutilated bodies, with the chest and belly open with surgical incisions that lead to the extraction of livers, kidneys, hearts, to mention only a few.

The priest Alejandro Solalinde recounts that cases involving organ trafficking were evident in areas of Veracruz, Oaxaca and Michoacan. “At first we had knowledge of the first state where bodies were found without organs, then we tracked them in Oaxaca, when a local deputy reported that they had found bodies in the region of the mountains”.

Fr. Alejandro Solalinde also recounted how in the land of Tierra Caliente, Michoacán, the militia group, Las Autodefensas, intercepted a truck with bodies, and although they reported it to the State Attorney, they were ignored, and although the bodies were confiscated, no one knows what became of the case.

There was a second time, again a truck, in this they were bodies and the Autodefensas said that “in addition to the bodies, some were still living children”.

The major drug cartel in Mexico, the Templars (Los Templarios), have been kidnapping children, ripping their hearts as they are still alive, and eating them raw. Alfredo Castillo, the federal government’s envoy to Michoacan, told a local radio:

At [an] initiation ceremony they used the organs, in this case the heart, and forced people going through this initiatory process to eat it

This ritual is superintended by Nazario Moreno, the leader of the Templarios, who makes his initiates consume the hearts of kidnapped children. Mr. Castillo continued to say:

There are statements from some people who were present when Nazario Moreno (El Chayo) came and told others, either as initiation or as part of a ritual: ‘Today we are going to eat a person’s heart

Nazario Moreno is a cult leader, and is believed by his followers to have special powers.

According to Mexican authorities the children are then further dissected for their organs which are sold in the underground (and underworld) black market. Several children were captured by the Templar cult gang and locked in a freezer in a van, being prepared to be sacrifices for upcoming rituals for future initiates. A local Christian militia in Mexico, tired of the government not doing anything, took up arms, attacked the devil worshippers, intercepted the van and rescued the children before they could be ritually sacrificed in the satanic ritual. The leader of the Christian militia, José Manuel Mireles, said:

They were inside a refrigerated box, tightly wrapped in blankets… They were all children from the same Mexico City school.

Two major drug cartel agents, Caballo and Chanenque, were ambushing innocent travelers and dismembering them. Jose Manuel Mireles, the leader of the militia, captured both Caballo and Chanenque. His men beat the two murderers on camera, and then ordered for the filming to stop. We don’t know the fate of the two devil worshippers, but one can imagine that the Christians justly dispatched them.

The Christian militia is called Los Autodefensas, and they began as a response to the horrific and satanic murders done by the drug cartel, and as a result of the utter corruption and evil cooperation the government has with the cartels. The drug cartels, like ISIS, taxes all those who live under their control. A local farmer was unable to pay the extortion tax, and so the cartel kidnapped his children, tied them up and smashed their heads upon rocks. It was against this horrific violence that this militia arose and fought.

God the ever glorious Son became of one flesh with humanity, and proclaimed to the holy Peter, “That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” (Matthew 16:18) The saints march to the gates of the inferno as it approaches the land of heavenly beings, and they, burning with a zeal only quenched by justice, fight with all noble ferociousness, tearing down its sinister walls and breaking the chains of the abysmal demons.

In their ineffable will and exuberance they strike the sinister forces, the corrupters of souls and the shedders of innocent blood, by “faith working through love.” (Galatians 5:6) Is this not a war between those of the flesh and those of the Spirit? The war is not between weapons, but between those led by the Spirit, (Galatians 5:18) and those who advance pharmakeia (Galatians 5:20) to use the word of the Apostle, which is nothing but the occult and the rituals of demons in which narcotics are used.

The Mexican cartels make up to twenty billion dollars a year from selling pharmakeia — in the forms of cocaine and methamphetamine — in the US, and all they are doing is advancing witchcraft. The soulless never end in spewing out their evils, saying that drugs are “harmless,” and that they should be tolerated and legalized, and they do not even realize that they are only being ambassadors for doctrines of demons and their acolytes who only come to steal, and to kill, and to destroy (John 10:10).

These militants do not fund their cause with drugs or with the blood of the innocent, but with money gained by the sale of limes and avocados. In one event — worthy of our lamentation — fourteen lime producers expressed their support for the militia and the Templar drug cartel murdered all of them.

All of this violence taking place in Mexico means that the nation is entering a civil war. These types of events are ones you would hear happening in Syria and Iraq, but they are occurring in Mexico. Mexico is on the brink on civil war. The cartels have already been fighting the militia army, Las Autodefensas. Now these self-defense armies are developing throughout Mexico. The righteous uprising began in Michoacan, and now you have militias in Guerrero, Sinaloa, Tamaulipas, Veracruz and they will continue to come about in other states. This is the restoration of the Cristeros, Catholic warriors who revolted against the anti-Christian government of Mexico in the 1920s and 30s.

This war will continue between the Autodefensas and the cartels, but ultimately it will be between the Autodefensas — the New Cristeros — and the biggest cartel, the Mexican government.

What Do Islamic Terrorists Really Want?

Sometimes it can be so hard to work out things like this.

It’s like walking in darkness with no sense of direction.

Sure, they tell us what they want but that can’t really be what they want.

Since 9/11, America has been plagued with a media industry churning out counterintuitive “What do the terrorists want” pieces. Sure you might think that the terrorists “want to kill you”. But profound media thinkers who know all about Islam without ever having read the Koran know that what the terrorists really want is for us to kill them. Every time we bombed them, we were just “playing into their hands.
Today the same bad ideas are being brushed off for insipid “What does ISIS want” thinkpieces which conclude that what ISIS wants most is for us to deviate from the media’s favorite progressive policies.

After letting ISIS overrun its half-dozen countries, the same geniuses responsible for the mess began claiming that what ISIS really fears is more of their failed policies. And what it really wants is Republican policies. If you support bombing terrorists or keeping them out of the country, you’re helping ISIS.

According to Obama, ISIS wants us to turn to “tough talk” and begin “abandoning our values” by keeping Syrian Muslim migrants out. After the Oval Office speech was done, the Caliph of ISIS probably threw up his hands and told his fellow terrorists, “It’s no use. This Hussein fellow just won’t talk tough. We’re doomed. Sure we’ll keep on killing Americans, but what good will it do if he won’t talk tough?”

Biden informed Americans that, “It’s clear what ISIL wants. They want to manufacture a clash between civilizations. They want frightened people to think in terms of ‘us versus them.’” Whereas our leaders know better than to think in such terms, unless the “thems” are Republicans in which case it’s okay.

But ISIS doesn’t care whether we think in terms of “us versus them”, because that’s how ISIS already thinks. The clash of civilizations is here. But according to Biden, what ISIS wants us is for us to recognize that reality. And if we refuse to recognize it, our denial will somehow defeat ISIS in an ostrich victory.

The media is full of unofficial progressive ISIS spokesmen eager to tell us “exactly” what the terror group wants. And according to them, it really wants to be beaten, humiliated and hated.

“Trump’s Muslim Ban Is Exactly What ISIS Wants,” shrieks Think Progress. Because if there’s one thing that ISIS really wants, it’s to prevent its terrorists from being able to reach the United States.

ISIS wants a Muslim ban almost as much as Think Progress’ editors want to be dumped in ISIS territory wearing only giant slabs of bacon and cartoons of Mohammed.

Their level of debate is about that of a contrary six-year-old. “Go to bed.” “No, that’s what ISIS wants me to do.” “Eat your breakfast.” “No, ISIS wants me to eat my breakfast. I’ll be playing into its hands.”

“Turning Away Syrian Refugees is Exactly What ISIS Wants,” the Huffington Post suggests. What could ISIS possibly want more than for us to “turn away” 1,300 ISIS supporters?

Maybe being shot in the head by a United States Marine. And, guess what?

According to The Week, “ISIS wants the US to send group troops”. Almost as much as Hitler wanted American tanks in Berlin.

Also ISIS really, really wants to be hated.

“ISIS Wants You to Hate Muslims”, The Nation declares. “Hating Muslims plays right into the Islamic State’s hands,” echoes the Washington Post. “Want to Help ISIS? Hate a Muslim” adds the Huffington Post.

Conveniently ISIS only seems to want the very things that leftists don’t want. And the possibilities are endless. “Let’s abolish ObamaCare”. “No, that’s what ISIS wants.” “Let’s drop our subscriptions to the Washington Post and The Nation”. “Don’t you understand, that’s what ISIS wants you to do!”

So far ISIS wants to be bombed, shot, kept out of America and Europe. And hated. It probably also doesn’t want to be invited to anyone’s birthday parties and enjoys calls from telemarketers.

This masochistic Islamic State has some serious self-esteem issues. Or maybe it’s the leftists who claim to speak for it who do.

“ISIS wants us to close borders”, someone at Greenville News insists. According to Storypick, “ISIS wants the world to hate them”. From the fever swamps of AlterNet, we learn that “ISIS Wants the Paris Climate Talks to Fail.” According to Haaretz, ISIS wants LePen to win in France. ISIS also probably wants the Patriots to win the Super Bowl and doesn’t think Bruce Jenner is either “stunning” or “beautiful”.

At the Huffington Post, the lead singer of Switchfoot informs us that he, “Looked up at the ceiling and asked the darkness, “What does ISIS want?”

The Caliph of ISIS however isn’t lying in bed, looking up at the darkness and wondering what the guitarist for an annoying alternative band wants. That’s one reason why he’s winning and we aren’t.

ISIS is vicious, but it isn’t neurotic. Meanwhile the leftists looking into the darkness keep coming up with very specific things that ISIS “exactly” wants from us.

“This vile cartoon portrayal of refugees is just what Isis wants”, a Guardian headline blares.

According to The Independent, “The needless interrogation of a Belgian academic is exactly what Isis wants from us”. That’s an oddly specific wish on the part of ISIS, but who am I to argue with a publication that also offers me Hamas supporter Jeremy Corbyn singing Happy Birthday, an orangutan laughing and “Five words everyone should hear on gun control” from Jennifer Aniston.

(The monkey would probably have a more informed opinion on gun control than Jennifer Aniston.)

The “Belgian academic” turns out to be Montasser Alde’emeh, a “Palestinian” who describes Muslim terrorism against Jews as “legitimate”.

But if we interrogate the sorts of “Belgian academics” who say things like, “According to Islam all conditions for armed resistance have been met”, we’re giving ISIS what it wants.

“Exactly what it wants”.

The only way to frustrate ISIS is to let terrorist sympathizers run free. And then ISIS will have to throw up its hands in defeat and kill another few hundred people.

“Isis wants an insane, medieval race war – and we’ve decided to give them one,” the Guardian declares.

Technically ISIS is the one giving us an “insane, medieval race war”, the same insane medieval race war practiced by Mohammed, but it wouldn’t be the Guardian if it didn’t find a way to blame us for it.

“It’s hard to think of a more poetic metaphor for our utter lack of ideas than spending several years dropping high explosives on to a desert,” a British hipster at the leftist publication complains.

We haven’t come up with any new ideas for winning wars except killing people. Shame on us. Where’s our creativity?

Juan Cole insists at The Nation, “ISIS Wants a Clash of the Civilizations: Let’s Not Give In”. Juan, like Biden, doesn’t seem to realize that it only takes one side to start a war.

It doesn’t matter if we sit in our corner of civilization with our hands folded refusing to fight. That just makes ISIS’ job a lot easier. Killing people who don’t resist is easier than killing those who do.

Unlike Bin Laden, ISIS doesn’t beat around the bush. It tells everyone “exactly” what it wants.

“The attack by the Islamic State in America is only the beginning of our efforts to establish a wiliyah [Islamic territory] in the heart of our enemy.” It calls for an alliance with “left-winged activists” opposed to Israel to “pave the way for the conquest of Rome”.

But this is much too obvious for the media’s “left-winged activists” who obsessively flip around reality until they can prove that the only way to defeat ISIS is by taking in millions of Muslim migrants and refusing to fight ISIS.

Because letting ISIS beat us is exactly what ISIS is afraid of. But beating ISIS is exactly what it wants.

I guess it’s not so hard after all.

On Donald Trump And The Republican Nomination

I’ve been hesitant to write about Donald Trump for a variety of reasons and I’m still not entirely sure what I think about him as a potential President.

I hope I don’t have to say that there are definitely far better options than Trump but because the majority of these candidates are almost a zero chance of the nomination, let’s consider Trump because he is popular enough to actually get it.

Trump offers some strong positives and some equally strong negatives. He is uniquely experienced and positioned to do a lot of damage to everybody – the Democrats, the Republicans, and the United States but that’s also why he could do a lot of good because the electoral system is a farce and he seems to know it.

It’s hard to see how he could possibly do worse than Obama’s intentional trip down Marxist-alley and given Hillary is the shoe-in for the Democrat nomination, I would take Trump any day over her grievous additions to the last seven years.

Moreover, the likely Republican candidate Jeb Bush is seemingly more of exactly the same pseudo-conservatism which usually ends up complementing the destructive agenda of the left rather than reversing it or, in the least, stemming the tide.

In this regard, Trump is a better if undoubtedly unpredictable bet but it is becoming equally clear that the GOP will not tolerate him as their candidate and that he will inevitability run as an independent, likely to Clinton’s gain.

In summary, the electoral system that has sold us two Bush’s, Clinton, Obama, and that is now looking like giving us the false dichotomy of another Clinton or Bush has found a common enemy in Donald Trump, which strongly suggests that he could actually be the man of the hour, despite his obvious imperfections.

Michael Snyder’s assessment of the situation is a sound one and while I am a bit more wary than Snyder seems regarding Trump, he certainly seems like the better option against yet another Bush as the GOP nomination – the left’s utter disdain for him is a promising sign:

Were you sickened by the Republican debate the other night? The hype leading up to the debate was unbelievable. Never before had there been so much interest in a debate this early in an election season, and it turned out to be the most watched program on Fox News ever. A record-shattering 24 million Americans tuned in, and what they witnessed was an expertly orchestrated assault on Donald Trump. From the very first moments, every question that was launched at Trump was an “attack question”. And then the laughable “focus group” that followed was specifically designed to show that “ordinary people” were “changing their minds” about Trump. By the end of the evening, it was abundantly clear that Fox News had purposely intended to try to destroy Trump’s candidacy.

And of course Fox News is far from alone. Every mainstream news outlet in the entire country is running anti-Trump news stories every single day. Virtually every other presidential candidate in both parties is attacking him, and virtually every “political expert” from across the political spectrum is trashing his chances of success.

So why is this happening?

Normally, candidates that are not part of the “establishment” do not pose much of a threat. In order to win elections in this country, especially on a national level, you need name recognition and you need lots and lots of money.

Donald Trump has both, and no matter what you may think of him you have to admit that he has star power.

And he was never supposed to run for president. You see, the truth is that only members of “the club” are allowed to play. The elite very carefully groom their candidates, and they are usually able to maintain a very tight grip on both major political parties.

This two-headed abomination that we call a “two party system” is in reality just a one party system. Yes, many Democrats and many Republicans really do hate one another, but at the end of the day there is very little difference between the two parties. That is why nothing ever really seems to change no matter who gets elected. George W. Bush continued almost all of Bill Clinton’s policies, and Barack Obama has continued almost all of George W. Bush’s policies. When they are running for office, they tell us what they think we want to hear, but once they get to D.C. they do exactly what the establishment wants them to do.

Donald Trump, whether you love him or you hate him, is a threat to this system. He is not controlled by the elite, and he does and says all sorts of things that drive the elite absolutely nuts.

If he was polling below 5 percent that wouldn’t be a problem. At first, the mainstream media attempted to portray him as a joke that would never get any real support. But since then, Trump has proven that he is a serious candidate with some very serious ideas about how to fix this country. Now that he is receiving far, far more support than the establishment choice (Jeb Bush), he must be destroyed.

I can promise you right now that the Republican establishment will pull out every dirty trick in the book to keep Donald Trump from getting the Republican nomination.

And if Donald Trump runs as an independent, the elite will move heaven and earth to keep him out of the White House.

This isn’t even just about Trump. If Ben Carson starts getting too much support, he will be destroyed too. This is how presidential elections in America work.

What we witnessed during the Fox News debate the other night was not an accident. The goal was to make Jeb Bush look good and to make Donald Trump look bad. The following comes from Mike Adams…

But the one thing that really stood out was the total fraud of what Fox News pulled off. It was clear from the first five minutes that Fox News had pre-arranged softball questions for Jeb Bush to highlight his “heroic actions” and accomplishments. Meanwhile, the kinds of questions directed to Donald Trump were all thinly veiled accusations and insults, designed to attack Trump on issues that had nothing to do with running the country.

The typical questions went something like this: (paraphrased)

Fox News: “Jeb Bush, how did you get to be such an amazing leader?”

Fox News: “Donald Trump, who do you hate women?”

As if a debate with totally contrived questions wasn’t enough, Fox News also had a pre-arranged assembly of apparently “ordinary citizens” who were asked, after the debate, how many of them now hated Donald Trump.

And even when “the debate” was over, the assault continued. If you have not seen the disgraceful “focus group interview” which Frank Luntz orchestrated, you can check it out below…

I just about fell out of my chair when I saw that.

Virtually everyone in the “focus group” that Frank Luntz put together supposedly had a positive view of Donald Trump before the debate, and then almost every single one of them supposedly become Trump haters during the course of the two hour debate.

I am sure that they were hoping that everybody in the viewing public would “come to their senses” and become Jeb Bush supporters.

But of course post-debate polling shows that is not happening at all.

The Drudge Report conducted a flash poll immediately following the debate, and a whopping 44.67 percent of those that responded said that Trump won the debate.

Ted Cruz was in second place with 14.31 percent.

Jeb Bush got a measly 2.07 percent.

A Newsmax survey came up with similar results…

Donald Trump: 38 percent

Ted Cruz: 15.5 percent

Neurosurgeon Dr. Ben Carson: 10.2 percent

Florida Sen. Marco Rubio: 9.7 percent

Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul: 9.3 percent

Ohio Gov. John Kasich: 4.9 percent

Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker: 4.5 percent

Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee: 3.5 percent

Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush: 2.5 percent

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie: 1.4 percent

And a survey conducted by Time Magazine also produced similar findings. Donald Trump got 47 percent, Ben Carson was in second place with 11 percent, and Jeb Bush got 4 percent.

But Donald Trump is not going to be the Republican nominee.

Unless something goes horribly, horribly wrong for the Republican establishment, Jeb Bush is going to be the nominee.

We have a system that is deeply, deeply broken and that does not reflect the will of the people.

This was illustrated by one of the questions that Trump was asked during the debate…

BAIER: Mr. Trump, it’s not just your past support for single-payer health care. You’ve also supported a host of other liberal policies….You’ve also donated to several Democratic candidates, Hillary Clinton included, and Nancy Pelosi. You explained away those donations saying you did that to get business-related favors. And you said recently, quote, “When you give, they do whatever the hell you want them to do.”

TRUMP: You’d better believe it.

BAIER: — they do?

TRUMP: If I ask them, if I need them, you know, most of the people on this stage I’ve given to, just so you understand, a lot of money.

TRUMP: I will tell you that our system is broken. I gave to many people, before this, before two months ago, I was a businessman. I give to everybody. When they call, I give. And do you know what? When I need something from them two years later, three years later, I call them, they are there for me. And that’s a broken system.

The really amazing thing is that nobody up on that stage disputed that what Trump was saying was true.

It is very well understood by our politicians that when they get big checks from the elite for their campaigns that certain things are expected from them in return.

Our government does not reflect the will of the people and it hasn’t for a very long time.

Instead, it reflects the will of the elite, and the American people are getting sick and tired of it.

Right now, surveys show that Donald Trump has far more support than any other Republican candidate.

But he is not going to be the Republican nominee. The Republican establishment will make sure of that.

There is still the possibility that Trump could run as an independent. That would be an extremely tough road, but on Sunday he sounded very open to the possibility…

The political hurricane that is Donald Trump didn’t recede over the weekend, even in the face of a rising tide of criticism from Republican rivals about his attack on Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly.

Instead, the celebrity billionaire insisted in a string of interviews on Sunday TV shows that he had done nothing wrong, that “only a deviant” would interpret his words in an offensive way, and that he is leaving open the possibility of running an independent campaign for the White House if the GOP doesn’t treat him “fairly.”

“I do have leverage and I like having leverage,” Trump declared on CBS’ Face the Nation on a morning that also included interviews with ABC’s This Week, CNN’s State of the Union and NBC’s Meet the Press.

This is a scenario that I discussed in my previous article entitled “Republican Operatives Plot To Sabotage Trump – But That Could Turn Him Into Their Worst Nightmare“. Personally, I believe that Donald Trump will decide to run as an independent when it becomes clear to him that the Republican establishment is going to prevent him from winning the nomination at all costs.

But I could be wrong.

So what do you think?

Snyder’s case against the political establishment here is perfect and ultimately this is why someone like Trump could actually be a boon in spite of his faults and weakness.

Disappointingly, it seems that it is unlikely that we will get Trump and far less likely one of the best case scenario, genuinely conservative candidates. Rather, we will get more of the same and at a critical hour where more of the same will likely mean the end of America as it was designed to be: free.

It’s a good thing that Jesus is coming back regardless of the result and so while we can hope and pray for a righteous leader in the near future, we are promised the perfect leadership of Christ forever.
