Islamic Terrorism In Tennessee, U.S.: Muslim Shoots, Murders Four Marines At Military Centre

When a Muslim murdered military personnel at Fort Hood a few years back, POTUS Obama labelled it “workplace violence”.

Will this latest Islamic terrorist attack get classified as another case of “workplace violence” or will somebody, perhaps someone like The President, acknowledge the truth?

ingFour [sic] United States marines have been killed in twin shootings at military centres in the southern state of Tennessee, in an attack local officials described as an act of terrorism.

The gunman was shot dead, Chattanooga mayor Andy Berke said, after the incidents that also injured at least two people — a police officer and a Marine Corps recruiter.

The Marine Corps confirmed that all four victims were killed at a Navy and Marine Corps Reserve Centre.

The second shooting, at the hands of the same man, occurred at a recruitment centre several miles away.

“It is incomprehensible to see what happened and the way that individuals who proudly serve our country were treated,” Mr Berke said, praising the quick response by law enforcement to prevent further loss of life.

Bill Killian, the US federal prosecutor in that part of Tennessee, said the shootings were being investigated as an “act of domestic terrorism,” but officials cautioned that no one should jump to conclusions.

“We are looking at every possible avenue — whether it was terrorism, whether it was domestic, international or whether it was a simple criminal act,” FBI special agent Ed Reinhold said.

The FBI identified the gunman as Mohammod Youssuf Abdulazeez, 24.

News reports said he was a naturalised American born in Kuwait.

It is a heartbreaking circumstance for these individuals who have served our country with great valour to be killed in this fashion.

The FBI raided his home in a leafy Chattanooga suburb and vowed to use every means possible to “determine the cause or the reason why he carried out this attack”.

Local news network WRCB said Abdulazeez graduated from the University of Tennessee in 2012 with a degree in engineering.

A woman who attended Red Bank High School with Abdulazeez said he was a quiet kid, but well-liked.

“He was friendly, funny, kind,” Kagan Wagner told the Chattanooga Times Free Press.

“I never would have thought it would be him.

“They were your average Chattanooga family.”

A high school yearbook quote which appears to have been written by Abdulazeez, cited by local media, reads: “My name causes national security alerts. What does yours do?”

In a blog post written Monday attributed to Abdulazeez, he wrote that “this life is short and bitter”, and said Muslims should not let “the opportunity to submit to Allah … pass you by”, according to the SITE Intelligence Group, which monitors extremist activity on social media.

But the FBI said it had found nothing tying the gunman to an international terrorist organisation.

Abdulazeez appears to have been a semi-professional wrestler, which local media confirmed pointing to a video posted on YouTube of a 2009 ultimate fighting competition showing a younger Abdulazeez.

“I mean, he seemed like the all-American kid,” Abdulazeez’s mixed martial arts coach Scott Schrader said, adding that he was “never loud, never boisterous, never got out of line”.

Mary Winter, president of the Colonial Shores Neighbourhood Association, said she had known Abdulazeez and his family for more than 10 years and was stunned at the crime.

“We’re all shocked and saddened,” Ms Winter said.

“He never caused any trouble. We can’t believe that this happened. We were just planning to have a swim team banquet tonight.”

The New York Times has reported that the father of Abdulazeez was investigated several years ago for “possible ties to a foreign terrorist organisation.”

Citing unnamed law enforcement officials, the paper said the gunman’s father was at one point on a terrorist watch list and was questioned while on a trip overseas.

The father was eventually removed from the watch list, the paper quoted the official as saying.

Investigators seek more details on gunman, politicians react

US president Barack Obama said the “heartbreaking” shootings appeared to be the work of a lone gunman.

Mr Obama said the families were still in the process of being contacted.

“I ask all Americans to pray for the families who are grief-stricken at this point and I want everyone to understand that we will be thorough and prompt in figuring out exactly what happened.”

Mr Obama said the FBI would lead the investigation and that the Department of Defence was making sure “all our defence facilities are properly attended and vigilant.”

Senator Bob Corker, a former mayor of Chattanooga, said he was “heartbroken”.

“This is a difficult day for Tennesseans and our thoughts and prayers are with all affected by this tragedy,” he said in a statement.

US authorities have increased security at federal facilities “out of an abundance of caution” after the shooting, Homeland Security secretary Jeh Johnson said.

The Department of Homeland Security was closely monitoring the shooting and supporting the FBI investigation, Mr Johnson said in a statement.

He cautioned “there are many unconfirmed and possibly false reports about events”.

Abdulazeez had been in trouble with the law recently, with local media publishing a mug shot of him after he was arrested for driving while under the influence in April.

The incident served as an ugly reminder of other deadly shootings at US military installations, including a 2009 rampage at Fort Hood that left 13 dead and a 2013 attack at the Navy Yard in Washington that left 12 dead.

And here we go again:

US president Barack Obama said the “heartbreaking” shootings appeared to be the work of a lone gunman.

Yes – it usually is the work of the person or people who commit the terrorist act.

The question being avoided though is what continually inspires “lone gunmen” or “small groups of gunmen” to kill U.S. military personnel or behead people or fly planes into buildings?

Enough with the lies and the games already – half the guys who do this are called Mohammed and the only thing motivating them is Mohammed’s example: Islam.

Please do not be one of those people who are forever wondering how or why this could have ever happened – it is plain and obvious that Islam is the how and why these terrorist attacks keep happening.

And all of these things will continue in the lead up to the return of Jesus Christ.

You can know him today.

“The God who made the world and everything in it, being Lord of heaven and earth, does not live in temples made by man, nor is he served by human hands, as though he needed anything, since he himself gives to all mankind life and breath and everything. And he made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their dwelling place, that they should seek God, and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him. Yet he is actually not far from each one of us…” ‭‭Acts‬ ‭17:24-27‬ ‭ESV‬‬
